  1. Yamamoto straight up won them this game. Our lack of familiarity and need to search for the sweet spot was basically it and we got a reminder that the Dodgers will steal games like this.

Go next, see y’all Monday. Jays in 6

  2. 11 runs one day and 1 the next. Baseball is so weird sometimes. Full credit to Yamamoto though, I don’t think the Jays really got a read on him at any point and he only seemed to get more dominant in the later innings.

  3. Yamamoto shoved. What can you do. Flush it and come out Monday night hot.

    Go Jays

  4. Great pitching duel, they’re some of my favorite games to watch. Really think this series could go either way.

Surprised the BJs didn’t really adjust their approach though, don’t remember the last time I saw them strikeout so much

Looking forward to the LAD “opening ceremonies”, thought the Jays did them well.

    LFG best of baseball

  5. Interesting to learn Gausman retired 17 straight because I don’t think he was all that great yesterday. He made plenty of mistakes that the Dodgers just failed to capitilize on until the 7th inning

  6. Ohtani popped with three weak flyouts but I am so glad that he eventually got a hit and contributed with a run. He will have the whole three home games to really smash something.

I think it is fair to say that we’ve seen the best of the Blue Jays pitching. As a dodgers fan I feel optimistic about matchups in the next 3 games.

  7. Can’t even feel bad. One individual absolutely dominated us. Sometimes it be like that.

  8. If the Seattle 3-2 scenario repeats itself, will Yamammoto have to pitch all of Game 6 to win, or can Sasaki be trusted to end the season

  9. Hell of a game by Yamamoto. Dude was dealing, my boys looked lost at the plate for a lot of the game.

    On to game 3!

  10. the lack of offense + need for historic pitching performances to squeak out wins greatly concerns me

  11. I think if the series goes longer, the dodgers horrible bullpen save for Sasaki won’t be as much of a factor because they will have their starters at their disposal to pitch an inning or two.

Jays really have to try and win the next one for sure.

  12. The entire series captured in the first two games. Pretty simple formula for both teams. If the Dodgers’ starters can go deep or the distance, the Jays are cooked. If the Jays can chase the Dodgers’ starters, the Dodgers are cooked.

  13. I love how Yamamoto looks like he’s throwing long toss on the mound but is instead painting with six plus pitches.

  14. The Dodgers sub is posting about how the Jays are probably cheating bc springer had something on his wrist that looked like an Apple Watch, Jesus Christ
