Yeah. I yelled out loud when that happened. It’s not *the* reason but it’s one of the reasons why this [game] played out the way it did because it was so obvious. While you hate to see a missed penalty get in the way of the natural outcome of the game, that’s exactly what it ended up doing. It was just bullshit. There’s no other way to look at it. I saw it as a needless gift. Who knows what happens in this game if the call was made correctly.

That was a huge play at pivotal point. No way to tell if we win the game after that, but you can absolutely say the game was over after that.

Considering the crap called as OPI (especially on Loveland this season), this is OPI + facemask + another bullshit missed call by the refs…. What’s new for Bears fans?

Honestly they should be investigated. At the least the head ref. Thuney doesn’t move. Ref doesn’t draw his flag until the Ravens D players start clapping and pointing.
No call on the crown of the helmet to Zaccheus.

Here were so many strange calls/no call that you have to start to question the integrity here. It was really bizarre to watch. And I fully expect our team to make dumb penalties. Colston is an absolute liability and our backup players have no issues committing penalties on their own, but the calls this game were atrocious.
Make facemasks reviewable. It’s not a judgment call.
No idea how they missed their DB crowning OZ either. No doubt he gets fined for that this week.

Refs were bad. False start on a guy that didn’t move then a no call on a clear facemask.
Same shit as last games. Refs ultimately knocked us out from having that last ditch effort
Face mask and OPI. Which is crazy because on Redzone just before this they called the worst OPI on the giants.
I feel like I’ve seen the Hopkins two handed push off clearing multiple times from him lately. He will literally do nothing all game and they’ll do that same play to him for the gotta have it first down… and yes, he pushes off each time – and doesn’t get flagged. It’s weird.
Every week it’s something. They say you have to earn respect in the league, I don’t need respect I just need some obvious calls that’d be called in a jv game to be called in an nfl game
