Boston Bruins TRADE Pavel Zacha to Vancouver Canucks SOON!? NHL Trade Rumours + Hockey News

Pavle Zaka and Vancouver. Now, my buddy Rick Dalawal reported that the Canucks had contacted the Bruins this week about Zaka. That’s true. And I think it’s been going on for quite some time. I think it’s all the way going back to the summer. The Conucks and Bruins have been on off about this. You know, Zaka’s not in the last year of his deal. He has another year. Teams are looking for centers. Boston doesn’t have to do anything here it doesn’t want to do. But this has kind of been a dance. the Conucks and some other teams seeing if they can prize Zaka out of there. One thing about Vancouver though in this case I do not believe they are on Zaka’s no trade list. Really good. Hey was all right. So I just wanted to drop that clip at the start of the video. If you’re new, hope you subscribe. Thanks for clicking on another hottake hockey video. Definitely drop your comments down below. Hit that like button. Appreciate the support. Yeah, Pavle Zaka makes a lot of sense with the Canucks, right? Like I’ve talked about that a few times. Uh, and now Elliot Freeman reporting it puts some kind of legitimacy on it. So, uh, just kind of going over what Puck GM, some fans are talking about here. You know what I think on a Bruins perspective, there’s probably a couple players you look at in terms of young promising players. It’s Leri Mackey and uh, Woolander. Uh, there’s a few other guys that I’m sure the Canucks would probably want to see um, in there in that trade versus the two guys I just mentioned, but uh, again, from a Bruins perspective, you want that value. So, just to see what fans kind of are are putting out there. Uh, there you go. One scenario is Larry Mackey going to the Boston Bruins. You know what? Zaka has a great start to the season, but you need to understand there’s limitations to this player. Uh, 50 60 points in a season, sure. Uh, can he be a second line center? Sure. Um, you know what? I think he could be a topline center, but it doesn’t mean that team’s making the playoffs. So, a second line center for playoff team, yeah, I could see it. Uh, I think the other guy you’ll probably see in some trade scenarios or proposals from pages and and from some fans is is Woollander, a right shot defenseman. He’s up there in kind of prospect rankings for Dman in the league. So, I could see it. I also could see the Conucks really making a decision here in the next month or so on what they’re going to be this season. Are they going to be a team pushing for playoffs or are they going to be a team that’s kind of stepping back a little bit? Um, you know what? If you make a trade like this, you’re you’re making that statement. year going forward. Um, so I think the Canucks, there’s different scenarios here. Uh, I’ve seen some potential trade conversations with the Carolina Hurricanes again. Uh, rewind when they were talking uh, Nous and Person, I don’t think it’s going to be that big, but a guy like Fetchnikov has struggled. I also will say talking to Canucks fans, seeing the post online, Kucks fans are fed up already with the Vanderane. It just it was a trade that was already criticized off the bat and now Kucks fans are getting really frustrated. So, um I was trying to find maybe one of the deals with Woolander. So, this one’s another one with Liceri Mackey, but you’re seeing the similar structure whether it’s a first and second, one of those young guys that we just talked about. Um even Canucks fans are like, “Hey, this season might not work out. Maybe we get Zaka next year and maybe it’s not as expensive.” Well, Willander still in this potential scenario, but it’s not a first round pick. I do think that the Canucks, like I said, could have the scenario where they, like many other teams, just look at the free agent class. I know it’s kind of diminished since guys like uh whether it’s Connor, McDavid, Eel, like go down the list. Um the list has gotten quite slim in terms of that free agent class that was looking pretty sexy. So, um, you know what, the Boston Bruins could be one of those other teams. Like, for me in their perspective, if you could get a Wanderer or Le Mackey in the deal, I would be willing to take the Evander Kane contract. Like, it’s a scenario where Zack has got two years left. Uh, you open that cap space for this off seasonason. It could make some sense for the Boston Bruins. Um, you know what, there’s a few other teams I think that could trade with the Canucks, like the Leafs. I know I always bring them into the conversation, but I do look at a guy like Nick Robertson who might want to go out west. I think the Canucks have those holes in the top six. Obviously, the Philip Heedle injury stuff just keeps being a conversation. Guy can’t stay healthy like a few other players in the league. We’ll probably have another conversation about Patrick Lenn because that’s out there right now. But, uh, you know what? I do think the Canucks might go for a couple deals. This one has the kind of the reunion of Bo Horvat. I don’t think that’s quite realistic, but you never know. Um, I think we’ll put one more into the equation. And this is kind of what I talked about. Vander Kane, attach him to some draft picks or some prospects and get Pavle Zaka in Vancouver. Um, you know what, this mock lineup for me is pretty realistic, right? Like De Brusk and Garland on the wings next to Person. And then, you know what, Riel might be like a solution. He might not be. Uh, in his first game, it wasn’t great. Uh, but at the very least, if you could have Zaka Besser and maybe one other guy in that top six, the Conucks lineup looks a lot better. Like, I think the defense is a great structure. Obviously long term you have it in the back of your head that Quinn Hughes could be gone. Uh but in terms of structure of your team, if you can get Philip Hedel back to be your third line center, Atu Ratu, maybe he fits as that third line center. Either way, you’re probably looking for one more top six forward on that Van Vancouver Conucks team. And yeah, you’re looking at a playoff roster. But even with Zaka, it’s still thin. So I’m wondering if the Canucks take a step back at some point. But at the same time, the worry across the board from hockey ops, I’m sure, from fans everywhere in between uh is Quinn Hughes two years out from potentially leaving. So, give me your thoughts, guys, on the Zaka rumor. Of course, Elliot Freeman put some legitimacy on it. I think it’s been a rumor for a bit now. Um, and now the Conucks are obviously eyeing that market for that second line center, especially with Heedel’s injury issues popping up again. So, thank you so much. We’ll see you on the next video or stream. Peace.
