  1. People saying this game would be no different if Brock was playing are either trolling or actually ill in the head.

  2. Y’know I wanna say the obvious that we desperately need pass rush help by the trade deadline, but let’s be real if we sign someone won’t they just get hurt too? Now even our depth guys on the line Elliott and Okuayinonu are going down injured. Not to fucking mention Winters got hurt this game too. I’m so sick of this shit man. It never fucking ends, like this phenomena with our team needs to be studied

  3. Look, I understand that guys are hurt and all, but the safety play is just atrocious.

Brown is not a NFL player.

And while Anderson is really good, McVivitz is a traffic cone and it’s laughable that they gave him an extension.

Another example of them not prioritizing the OL.

  4. I don’t even want them to make a trade. I mean why give away assets for the person we trade for to get decapitated 2 plays into their tenure here. Because we all know they will get injured ASAP

  5. going to MetLife next week 😬

e: lmao I meant I was worried about the team playing on MetLife turf. have fun to those going

  6. My condolences to the fans who traveled and spent money to see this sorry ass offense and defense.

  7. Honestly i can excuse the injured offense only putting up 15 points against the best defense in the league. But man the defensive performance against an injured and bad texans offense is depressing.

  8. Under no circunstance should we trade for players. That would be just dumb at this time with this roster

  9. One of the most frustrating, feckless regular season losses I’ve seen in awhile. Maybe since the Colt McCoy Game in 2021?

  10. Obviously situations are different and the defense is bad but same record as the 2023 49ers at this point. Let’s get Purdy and Pearsall back eventually and play better next week.

Not coaching’s fault this week really. Depleted personnel.

  11. Our offense took way too long to get anything going and it left our defense absolutely gassed.

For a defensive critique, can we play more press man, maybe get an edge rusher? I hate seeing all these YAC yards from other teams.

  12. In retrospect, this was a bad matchup all around.

Houston has a good defense and DeMeco is very familiar with Shanny and Saleh. This was primed for a beat down.

The defense needs some support. Backups and 3rd stringers are only going to carry you so far.

Hopefully Brock is back next week. God bless Mac. He’s done great for a backup, but I think we’ve seen him hit his ceiling.

  13. Bengals about to lose to the winless Jets. I guess we’re not the only fan base depressed today

  14. A non existent offence who’ve been terrible all year on third down absolutely had their way with us today, mostly on 3rd down. Weak performance both side of the ball.

  15. Little to no pass rush all game just exposed the next level of defenses weaknesses. Unfortunately you can only lose so many starters before your backups just aren’t good enough.

  16. Off topic and maybe not even relevant, but Dustin Perry has been with the 49ers since 2017 and is currently head of strength and conditioning.

Whenever someone mentions our training/medical staff, we always hear “but we have cleaned house multiple times!” but that obviously can’t be the case if Dustin Perry has been on the team this entire time.

I don’t even know if any injury has anything to do with his methods , but you would think out of principle we’d have tried someone else.

  17. This game just demonstrated the value of depth charts. No QB can work with this many dropped passes.

  18. Oh well, I ain’t mad at this performance… The boys battled their asses off with and the constant amount of players who keep getting hurt week to week. This team has a ton of heart which last year’s squad didn’t!

At some point when you got 3rd and 4th string and practice squad players making their season and career debuts. An one of the worst OLines in the league it’s gonna catch up with the team. Unfortunately the bye week isn’t till week 14 so back to the drawing board and let’s see if our guys can steal another W on the road.

    Go 9ers!

Glad George got a TD on national TE day!!!

  19. Didn’t watch but I caught the radio broadcast on my drive. Tim Ryan called it perfectly. The defense withstood losing Bosa and Warner, but the injuries are finally catching up.

At one point they called who was on the DL and it was all names I heard in training camp. We’re too banged up
