Drafts can only be judged in hindsight. Yes, Poles sucks, and yes, it’s looking like he picked the worst QB.
He got less playing experience last year than Caleb. Has worse everything, line, te, wr, maybe not rb and he too has a 1st year HC although experienced, and a new play caller and he’s BALLING while Caleb isn’t even close. Maye was supposed to be the young developmental QB. I’m riding with 18 but he should be playing a lot better right now.
We shouldn’t look this bad against a bad Ravens defense and a backup QB dude. This was a bad, bad loss.

Defense was trash. Special teams was trash. OL and run game were also trash. Caleb was trash.

Caleb was the consensus #1 pick in that draft. I personally had Maye at 2 but there’s no argument, whoever had the #1 pick in that draft was taking Caleb Williams.

Last year it was awww should’ve drafted JD5, now Maye is playing better than Daniel’s and it’s should’ve drafted Maye. What’s it gonna be next year? Should’ve drafted Bo? Should’ve drafted Penix? Shit after week one some of yall said we should’ve drafted JJ.

That being said, Poles resume is looking really rough… And it’s getting worse as it ages. We had four picks in the first two rounds this year and we are getting close to zero contribution from all four of them combined. Poles draft picks are getting outplayed by their counterparts all over the league, whether it be Caleb and Maye, or Loveland and Warren, the list goes on.
We have a penalty problem, too. That’s not to say there were some major missed penalties today that did not go the bears way but we shouldn’t be in a position to lose because of blown calls.
Okay everyone wanna praise drake maye and how great he looks. This is the patriots wins this year: Dolphins, panthers, saints, titans, browns and only one note worthy is the bills. He crushes weaker comp which we all wish that CW could do but it’s not like the pats are beating S tier level teams every week
