All right, guys. Um, injuries from the game. Jordan Elliott had an ankle, didn’t return. D. Winners with a knee, didn’t return. Um, Samo had an ankle, didn’t return. Alfred Collins, um, shoulder did return. Go ahead. What jumps out at you at the defensive struggles you had just getting off the field? Um, a little bit of everything. I mean, it wasn’t good enough at all. Um, and all all three phases. Uh, special teams played the best, but um, you I thought we struggled to tackle. uh struggle to get a rush. Thought we made too many mistakes in the secondary on some of our zone dogs and uh felt like we didn’t challenge him enough a man either. So, a little bit of everything. Kyle is obviously more injuries that side of the ball today. Obviously talking about tackling fundamental stuff, but I mean is part of it just lack of healthy bodies and the talent? Uh yeah, it makes it harder, but um I mean we played a lot better last week, so um we can do a lot better than we did today. Are any of those injuries today potentially serious or? Um, we’ll see. Um Um, hopefully not. You know, two ankles didn’t look like high as Dwinners with his knee. Um, just inflammation, things like that. So, hopefully he’ll be all right. Um, he made some plays. Um, you know, and he missed some too. You know, I don’t think anyone on offense did that good. Um, you know, we had to, um, really take advantage of, you know, they held on the ball as good as any team that had been around. Um, just going against them. U, we had to really take advantage when we did get the ball and made too many mistakes. Um, when the defense is out there for that long, u, we can’t go three and out. Had too many of those today. And, um, you know, I thought Mack made some big plays. You know, that touchdown at the end of the second quarter. Um, the touchdown to JJ down the field. Um, but just collectively as an offense to make mistakes. Can a game like this damage your team’s morale, spirit, or even I would hope not. I mean, got beat today. Credit to them. Um, they kicked our ass and we got to take it like men and come back hopefully a little pissed off and go to work and play better next week than we did this week. Was that was that kind of your message to the team? Uh, yeah, definitely. Um, I mean, there’s not much to sugarcoat there and I was real disappointed in how we looked u for all four quarters. First half was unacceptable and second half didn’t get much better. So, um, not much to say about it, except that we’ll look at on the plane and figure out all the things that we know we can correct and that we did mess up. But, uh, expect the guys to come in tomorrow with a chip on their shoulder, ready to get back to work. You got the KD touchdown right before halftime and then interception. Did you think? I knew we had a chance to, especially when we were starting with the ball out there. Uh, I still thought we had a chance at the end in the fourth quarter. I thought there were a couple opportunities where we could have came back and, um, you know, we didn’t stop him there. made it a two-score lead um there at the end which was tough but uh you know they outplayed us um a lot today but I still thought we had our opportunities to find a way at the end and we didn’t get it done. Is it too greedy to to want to go out of balance so you can maybe do something um it’ll be good stuff for us to review with him. I think it’s tough. You know there’s 11 seconds before the play. Um so we need awareness of that when it happens. Uh I do think uh when you catch it by the sidelines and I I think he has time to look to score. Um but but I think once we can’t we got to get down immediately. So, I think it is a little greedy just getting on him for that. I thought it was a hell of a play by Demo. It was nice to break that um stretch that we’ve had of not getting a pick. Um but it’ll be a good learning explan uh situation to kind of cover with all our guys tomorrow. Same question deadline more. But as far as getting some defensive reinforcement, does today change your perception of what you’ve been saying? Uh, nothing changes anything. Has to do with what what’s available out there and does it help us this year? Does it help us next year? So, um, usually as things get closer, you get a little more idea on who’s real and who’s not and we’ll evaluate that for the short term and the long term. Was the defensive game plan to force the Texans to execute long drive? No. No, it wasn’t. There is an element that can’t be controlled injuries and that plays such a big role, especially out there today. Is that frustrating for you as a coach trying to find the answers to Um, I mean, injuries are part of the game. I mean, I kind of used to get a lot more frustrated with it and I’m a lot more used to it just over my career. Um, and it’s, you know, the frustrating part is trying to find answers and and now working throughout that game. And coach, you have a local guy on your team in Upton Stout. Can you just say what you’ve seen him add to the team um in practice and also on the three game field? Um, yeah, I’ve been real happy that we got Upton. We loved him in college and we’ve loved him since he’s been here and it’s good to get him back out there today. um you know after his injury from last week but he’s a young guy with a promising future. Take two more. Were you happy with the effort that guys put there? Obviously there are mistakes but effort wise were you happy with that? Um I mean there’s no plays in particular where I was um question anybody’s effort and I’ll be able to see that in more detail when I get on the plane. Uh I feel collectively just as a whole I wish I felt our team a little bit more today. Um but I you know there was nothing where I saw guys loafing or anything like that but it’s a little easier for me to see when I study the tape. when you said you felt the team were you just mean from like an energy uh just coming out I mean I felt them in the locker room and stuff all that and everything but just the the that first half was tough you know I think it was 14 first downs to two um just the time of possession and everything like that it was just a uh it was a tough first half um an unusual first half it seemed like based on what happened defensively last week was like hey maybe against all odds you guys can overcome is it I don’t know as a reality check you got have those type of players on the field. There’s going to be I mean we our reality is pretty realistic on what we deal with every week. So we knew we had a tough game versus Atlanta and we felt we had a tough game today. So um all those things you guys can write about that stuff. But yeah, it’s definitely harder when you lose really good players, but um we’ve had that situation throughout this year and um all I want us to do is play as good as we can play and then you can deal with whatever. And today we didn’t play as good as we could play.

    IT WOULDN’T!!! The Niners would still have gotten ass kicked today. Very poor 49er team effort from the coaches on down.

  3. dear lord that was hard to watch.. even MORE INJURIES, defense couldnt stop sht, couldnt run the ball, couldnt give mac a second to throw… mmy goodness that was terrible. its crazy how we had a chance, it really says a lot but we were not good enough today. not even close.

  5. An inconsistency week to week.
    Trash and trash 🗑 🗑 🗑☹️. They can kiss good bye to the play off because they are old and slow with whole bunch of asses rookie played with inconstant and looked confused during the game.

  8. Difference in the game is that Texans had pressure on a 4 man rush.. the Niners couldn’t pressure with a blitz.

    Secondary can’t jump any routes to make a play. Quick slant pass was money for Texans. Look for trade or two this week to get a pass rusher.

  10. No a**kicking required. The team is just full of multi millionaire players who act like they've never seen an out route before, who don't know where to lineup, can't block, can't catch, can't tackle, can't rush and generally look as skilled as your average peewee footballer. Absolute trash product. A level of pathetic rarely seen before.

  11. Next week Pearsaw Purdy come back work off the rust,, defense plays better getting used to each other,, We WIN , Next week after we smoke the Rams. Any substitutions at that point have time in and contribute like now . We're going to be fine.😊

  13. Kyle seems to have forgotten to mention how terrible the coaching was… The team didn’t play up to their capabilities. But come on man. Just a little bit of accountability.

  14. How do you win a game like last week and today was a complete shir show. These type of games always make me question all the conspiracy theories about Vegas really calling the shots in sports.
