Detroit Pistons Win Home Opener vs Boston Celtics | Full Game Highlights | #NBA #pistons
Some thought he wasn’t ready to be a head coach. How wrong could they have been? So fire steard for a slam and it’s 2-2 in downtown Detroit. Jade to Duncan Robinson quickly to Assar and he’s open for the shot in short fighting for it inside and losing it as Gobias Gonzalez had his pocket picked. He was about to elevate for the basketball. Kade fires, fills it up, and we’re halfway through the first. Boston’s up 19 to7. Stew from the corner for three. And it’s through. And as he played well, I think what you said earlier is very important. That’s a a proud team and they’re already 0 and2. They don’t want to go 0 and three. Stew to the basket. Powers it up and in. It leaves it for Isaiah Stewart against Garza. Shot clock at eight. Nice dump off pass. 31-7 Celtics. He’s got an assist and now a bucket. And what the Pistons have shown us, there’s always somebody that will get a steal but don’t convert. BuchΓ© couldn’t finish. Kan on the other end. He may get his points tonight. I suspect he starts now, mind you, for the Portland Trailblazers, but he’s averaged 32 points in those last quarter. Big numbers. Tobias gets himself a shot and sticks it. 3528. The Pistons on the way back. Second minute, second quarter. Jaylen Brown against Tobias. Bush gives it up to Simons. Anthony Simons with the shot. Rips the net. That’s it. It’s 4130 Boston now. Just under nine minutes to play in the first half on the floor for it taking it away. Isaiah Stewart against Jaylen Brown. He’ll back him in, fire over him, and fill it up. Great one-on-one basketball from Tobias Harris. Old school, oldtime post up right there. He’s got a height advantage. slim as it might be, but he used it. And then on the other end, and thanks Jamir Gibbs for your Piston support. There’s a heck of a Piston right there. His second trip here. Asar Thompson takes the bump. Squares up and guns. It won’t go. JD with a rebound back up off the glass and good and physicality and put it into the chest of a guy with 4 in more on you than that. Greg said the Pistons are within six. Anthony Simon top side to Kada. Back door cut by Derek White shot blocked by Kade. He’s playing with the two fouls. But there’s Kade alertly. Heads up play by the Piston Star. But the Celtics swarm him trying to get to the basket for a dunk. Blocked by Durham. courageously on White and then there maybe getting a little piece but not goes Jaylen Brown for a deuce. Celtics up two beats everybody back for a flying jam and was fouled. Didn’t call it though. Interference for Kate Cunningham to get him wide open on that game time three. And there’s the game time dump. It looked like he got fouled to me. George powerful transition dunk K to Assar Thompson. It’s been a really good game. Dominance and a tale of two quarters. Dawkins college coach a great John Beline here watching. Kade gets to the basket. Speaking of great, lays it up, lays it in. He has 10. Boston leads by one. Kade back to Assar Thompson to the rim. What? What a scoop. Had it way up high. Brought it down. scooped and scored. He has a dozen part of the Pistons offense. After getting 19 points in that win in Houston, he’s right back at it here attacking using his great athleticism. Kade inside for Assar. Half hook from in front. He hits it. Counts that baby. And a foul. You can clearly see that Assar Thompson this year is going to be a more consistent provime cage deep bounce to Assar and Jaylen Dur with a finish. That’ll push Boston into a timeout. Pistons have their biggest lead of the ball game right now. Piston 74 and the Celtics 68 708 to play here in the third and 29 for Jaylen Brown and his team trails by five. This is love it JD with a sensational oneand slam. Dennis Jenkins. Dennis Jenkins got him the ball. Taking a page out of K’s book drawing defenders and then making free throws. It’s the fourth foul by 17. Go figure. Jaylen Brown. Pad picked off by Assar Thompson. Bounces it ahead. Pistons move it around. How about that? Ron Holland had it, then he didn’t, then he got it back and then he scored it. Watch this. One player touches it. The second player touches it. The third player touches it. The fourth player touches it and then it goes back to how four out of five guys touch that basketball as it is coming down the floor. That’s playing together, folks. This team is a together. Gives it up to Isaiah Stewart. And now Cade works against Hower. Cade gives it up. Gets it back. Stops and fires and fills it. Derek White for Boston. Turnover. Assar jam from Ron Holland. He took it way up and threw it way down now. He lost a little track of time, but he’s had a heck of a ball game. And Ron Holland is always everywhere at the end of three. Like they were trying to run away from the Pistons who are now trying to run away from them. White to the basket. Pistons get him stopped. Assar to he has scored their last 10. Well, you got Boston trying to do what the Pistons are trying to do in the second quarter and that’s, you know, keep sets up Devonte Green for the corner three. It won’t go through. Assar has the rebound. Duncan Robinson fires and fills it up. moves it up to Kada all the way across the floor for Hower inside for Jaylen Brown. Double clutcher blocked by JD. Tobias Harris four court to Ron Holland from in front. Yes, he hits it and a 107 to 103 lead. That’s 15 rebounds for Jaylen Duran. Tobias deep for JD in a jam. Very nice. Killingham giving it up. Trust me, his teammates to make the right plays. I like Tobias down the lane under control. 109 103 off for Tobias. Tobias on the drive. Running Glasser. No. JD with the rebound. Back up. No. Flush though on the follow by SR Thompson. Pistons needed that with two and 52 to play. Jaylen Brown topside for Hower. Hower with two and 40 left. Cage to the basket. got a piece of it and wouldn’t fall, but Assar follows, fills it up. Top side to K. 24 second clock went off. Scott didn’t go, but the Pistons control the glass.

Gotta appreciate a grind it out win like that. Loving the growth from our wings, and the ball movement on that 4/5 play was crazy!
Ausar and JD were unstoppable, jusr absolutely feasting on the glass.
You know the Pistons won again ππ₯!
Our team is GOOD
I MUST ADMIT… after years after 2000+ we have now a promising team who looks better then year before.
Go Pistons!!!
Hustle and D + playing smart offence = WIN
I love seeing Ausar show passion!!!!! NBA you have a problem!!!!
Great game!!! I LOVE MY CITY!!!
slight enigma but trying aint for te pistons to good.
Ausar is so him
I read in a recent article where Trajan Langdon explained Iveyβs surgery was successfully completed in 15 minutes – It will be nice to finally see Ivey play with this nucleus of players. It looks like Thompson, Duren, and Cunningham are playing at much higher levels. Everyone is hoping and waiting to see Ivey mesh with them SOON.
I'm loving the passing and physicality of the Pistons.
Moral of the story when Cade, Asur and Ron are balling like this weβre on eof them ones. Ron and Ausur are all star players in the making. Shout out stew heβs a dog.
Nah fuck that, Ron gotta stop ball hogging. Nigga never pass on fast breaks
Love the unselfishness and making the extra pass. The Pistons look dialed in, and JB Bickerstaff has got them playing true Detroit Basketball.
