Mike Tomlin is the problem. I’d rather venture into the unknown than watch another season of this shit. It’s the same team every year.
The worst part with the defense is how clueless and out of position they look. Most of it is straight up bad technique, and that’s on the coaching staff.
And I love Boz, but I’m sick of him being a crutch for the offense. They get over midfield and it’s like they’re playing to secure the field goal, and won’t think of going for it in unless it’s 4th and inches.
“Rodgers denied beating 32 teams” unless it’s a Packers vs Steelers SUPAH BOWL! It’s still in the cards!
(I’m delusional)
I remember some time ago, in either a free agency or trade thread, when someone said “The Steelers logo is a circle because we have no corners”, which is sadly still true based on how the defense is playing.
Saw Tucker Kraft’s hometown bar and mom more than TJ Watt.
They had 10 days to prepare for that performance, at home even!
Team fully quit today. No discipline whatsoever. I could go on and on about how bad this team really is, but who cares? We know what the issues are and the dead horse is long decayed. The refs might have been ass, but the Steelers are a pile of steaming shit.
Fire Tomlin
Fire Austin
I honestly hope ARod says something about the defense in the presser. Someone has to.
Same old story. Get ready for a losing streak like the one we went out on last season but hey, this time it’s in October! Fire Tomlin.
How there can be any Tomlin defenders left is beyond me. No playoff wins in 10 years and nothing to show for anything this year
This is your weekly reminder that the goal is to win the Super Bowl, not to go 9-8 and sneak into the playoffs so you can be waxed by the first true contender you face.
Can’t wait to hear Tomlin say absolutely nothing and come out and do the exact same thing next week. I could literally do what he does.
no takeaways no wins. their defensive concept has failed.
get ready for 4-4 folks
3-0 when the defense allows less than 30
1-3 when more than 30

the game has passed tomlin by. he’s stuck on a defense and offense that worked in 2008. he’ll never outgrow his ego and he’ll never hire coaches that challenge his ideals. you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. he won a superbowl with bill cowhers players. he had a generational offense in the killer B’s, but a god awful defense and refused to adapt and fumbled multiple chances to win. he continues to trip over himself and tell the media, “we own up to our mistakes and don’t live in our fears” then turns around and does it the next week. the steelers don’t just have a coaching and players problem, but an owner problem too. the product on the field is cause of rooney. he doesn’t care about wins, or superbowls, he only cares about filling his pockets. no heart, no passion, and it trickles down to the coaches, and it trickles down to the players. multiple years of this. nothing has changed. absolutely awful.
Thank God we had a week and half to prep for this game. Our defense could’ve gotten embarrassed otherwise!
The Colts are about to do unspeakable things to this defense.
AFC North is wide fucking open for the first time in years and this is the effort we get week after week. Culture is the problem.
That felt more like a 21-point loss than a 10-point loss. Jordan Love and the Packers offense was immaculate, but that felt like a defense getting completely outclassed.
Nothing else to do but extend Tomlin for another 3 years
I would like to congratulate TJ Watt for being 20th in the league in sacks and 184th in tackles. Definitely money well-earned.
Special shutout to Cam Heyward for holding out and being 262nd in tackles. Great leadership.
Self destruction adds a new layer of humiliation to the incompetence. Watching these idiots draw flags for unsportsmanlike conduct in crucial moments is just unacceptable.
The defense can’t be relied on to do anything but dig a hole for Aaron to try to climb out of the following drive.
I told myself the 2025 season didn’t really matter and the 2026 draft was all I cared about, but Jesus these quarterbacks are not looking like they are worth whatever pick we end up getting anyway!
Dismantle this defense and put the money into an innovative coaching staff.
It’s really simple
Mike Tomlin is a
1. Defensive Minded Head Coach
2. Who inspired players to play better than normal
3. And had his players under control
The Steelers Are Now
1. Terrible on Defense
2. Players are playing worse than they did last season
3. No one is under control
He’s cooked, everything about him has fallen off and at this point he’s surviving off name recognition
It’s 2006, the Steelers defense cannot solve the enigma of a big slow TE running through the middle of the field.
It’s 2012, the Steelers defense cannot solve the enigma of a big slow TE running through the middle of the field.
It’s 2019, and the Steelers defense cannot solve the enigma of a big slow TE running through the middle of the field.
It’s 2025, and the Steelers defense still cannot solve the enigma of a big slow TE running through the middle of the field.
Don’t worry guys they’ll figure it out soon
We pay 30 mil more for this defense than the next highest paid defense to give up 30 points to anyone with a pulse lmao
I’d gladly suffer through a 5-12 this year if it meant a leadership change and complete rebuild.
The Steelers are terrible. This silver lining is I do think this team loses a LOT more.
Tomlin and his staff got their pants pulled down in the second half.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are an unprofessional outfit.
It feels like I’m watching the same season over and over again. This team is the Groundhog Day of the NFL.

For anyone who thinks the problem with this team is anything at all other than the defense, here’s the stats for you:
– Only ONCE the entire year has the defense given up less than 350 yards of offense. That one time was to the Browns
– We have gone 3 consecutive games without a turnover
– We give up the MOST first downs in the league, MOST amount of average plays per drive, and SECOND HIGHEST average yards per drive
– We have given up 30 or more points on defense four times this year
– Opponents thus far have run over 100 more plays than us
The Steelers came in this year with a defensive gameplan to run a lot of single high, Cover 1 man. Which they have, running man middle field closed more than almost anyone. And that gameplan has been a complete, abject failure. It has cost us games. This is Tomlin’s defense, he heavily meddles in the scheme and play-calling. I think it’s time to move on.
