HIGHLIGHTS: LA Kings at Chicago Blackhawks | NHL Highlights
for the opening faceoff and the puck drop is brought to you by Theodore Robin Ford by field lefier and FIA and he’s offended maybe off the referee. Terrain shoots it around and now Connor Murphy there for the Blackhawks. Terrain and a shot juggled a bit. It’s loose. Feeds Biffield with some speed. Lost the handle. Kings get it back. The Furier shoots it right on and a save by Solder Bloom on that shot about knee high and Blic winds it right back in. Now Terabine in for Nazar shoots it and a save by Forsber. Dowy quickly and he’s tied up in there. That’s Kopitar. Dickinson back on the goal. Wrapound and a save by Forsber. He got down quickly. docked to the back and now Kaiser tipped off Perry’s stick. Early pushed by the Hawks. Kaiser again fires it maybe off the mask. Another shot and that goes just wide. And now Daddy has some time looking for Turkot. He’s covered. No doubt he had his pocket picked at center by Bard right in. And a great save by Forsber on Bedard who stole it. And now Cece knocks it away. You take everything into consideration. Outnumbered attack. Best shooter with the puck. Great save. Now McKay in front. Tipped. And they score off the post off the skate of Forsber. And the Hawks lead one- nothing. [Music] So the energy right now is all with the Hawks. One shift after another. The Kings could not get to the red line and get it deep into the other zone. You’ll see it’s it’s not the cleanest of plays. And John, as you mentioned, it ends up off the post and then it ends up off the skate and lifted out by Dowy. Too far for Biffield. And now it’s Felo coming down the left flank. A shot. No problem there for Forsber and Clark to keep it alive. And now Biffield swings out high. Press shot caught by Solder Bloom and we get a stoppage and the Hawks slow it down. Terrain double clutches a bit and then Nazar to Bedard. One timer didn’t get a log on it as Forestberg got across. Kings are on it and here they come and Trevor Moore comes in and a break. Dumalan right in short-handed and a save by Sonner Bloom on Dumalan who joined the party shorthanded. do not score in the power play. And this is kept alive by Dowy. Fluttering shot. Save. Rebound in front. Byfield in the area. Couldn’t get it. Nice to see Biffield in front again. Get that traffic. That’s dumped in by Donado. Chopped at the stick of Edmonson. Played around by Fia. Kept in. Long drive right on by Krebier. And a save by For stolen by Perry. Now for Chriso to the back. Edmonson around to Clark waiting shooting one and a blocker saved by Solder Bloom. It pops in the air and settled by MO and he stops and now filters one to the corner and then Edmonson strong on the wall. Good play for Kopitar [Applause] for Chris Mako. Toe drag and he lost his balance and Nazar coming back in for the Hawks for Terabin to Nazar. Right on save by Forsber looking for an open teammate. Goes back of the goal. Final minute now. Back to Kempe. The drive right on goal. Adjustments. Make adjustments. Handling the puck. Go from there. But get to the inside a lot more. And teams are at full strength. Underway in the second period. Sailed in by Lechenov. And now Dumlan around. Cut off there by Connor Badard. and his pass across. Fial trying to get it and that’s off his skate. Bard again. Checked by Biffield and now it’s Leferier for Fia to Biffield. Lefer cuts in and right off the goal post. What a chance. And he draws a minor as he nearly tied the game up at the same time. You’ll see on the left side of the screen drag right there so he doesn’t go offside. Goender gets a pad on it. Then Learer gets another one. Now, this is one of those plays where the speed on entry is so important. Good puck protection and the goalender did everything he could right there high above. Yeah, good look right there of how Soder Bloom waited till the last minute. Then Pia chased out high by Vassic down low. Kazmo shoots it and that’s off a stick and it goes out of play in behind the goal. Now Clark again. Lefer in the slot. Here’s Clark up high and a save by Solder Bloom just as Kaiser returns from the box. Well, he told us it was Todd Bertusi, right? The old Western Conference battles, huh? Off the face off. The Kings in front and looked very airier and a good pad save by Solder Bloom. Hawks shoot it down the ice. They both were able to worm their way into position and make sure they got the rebound whether it’s with the hands with Rodman or the stick with Perry. Now Slagger back at the line. Kaiser a shot nowhere near the goal. Another shot right on stopped by Forsber on that shot by Renzel from the point and the Hawks dangerous here and Landon Slagger out of nearby Notre Dame. [Applause] Now Ryan Green number 20 at the line. Renzel and that shot missed the target again and pressure by Chicago. Already leading by one and a first period goal from Gdard. Deno trying to clear it. Kept in. Get some help there from Dumlan. Now the Kings come to center. Here comes Lefier. Shoots. He scores. Lefira short side. What a shot. We’re tied at one. [Music] So turnovers were the story for the Kings in the first period. Huge turnover here with the defenseman right here. Extra right there. He probably should have got it deep. Put it to the middle. From that point on, it’s a twoon one. The worm is on one side, but the short side is open. And Alexer, you could hear it right. That sound normally goes to the favor of the goalender. The bing. And now Arma gets it for the Kings. Pats at center. picked off by Lev Chanov. He comes in, shoots it looking for that old pass off pad and it’s stopped by Forsber and the Kings come back. Arma in front had a man there and now ahead looking for Bard who was lurking in behind the defense, but that was off the mark. We’re just talking about basketball. Looked like fast break there. Now Trevor Moore speaking of fast breaks comes in a shot and a save by Solderble and then Dickinson. That shot blocked. Kings ahead in a break. And Fia, he’s in the clear to the net and he can’t jam it in. Now he goes. Oh my goodness. Fia thought it was dead, but he wraps it in and the Kings have taken a two to one lead. That was lit. Leaving and going the other way. Watch him get the puck here. The skating. Keep it. Get it. Build it up. Knows he’s running out of room. Says, “I don’t have it here.” Watch the edge work right there from behind the net. His skates are directly behind the goal when he ends up wrapping it around right there. So the ability to move the ability to work and Biffield wins the face off. Here comes Dumalan. Handed back to Fia waiting shooting one caught by Solder Bloom. Face off there. Now the Hawks with it at the line. Grizzl shoots it. And where is it? In the padding I believe. Yeah. of Forsber for Dumalin trying to get by that byfield stick spinning away. What a move by Dumlain. Right in and a save by Solder Bloom. Hard rim Tempe there to cut it off. He comes back in now for Turkot right in on goal and a save by Solder Bloom on Turkot after the Hawks and then a pass by Fiala blocked and the Hawks come back to center and Ma short-handed and a save by Borsberg on a pretty good rush there by as Deno wins the faceoff. Dowy quickly across for Clark knocks it out in midair. What a play. Comes in front and a shot by Deno and Jim Hiller sends out the normal group and that of course would be Kopitar by field and the dump in Kaiser around that’s kept in Edmonson with it shoots it and a stick save by Solder Bloom for Deno. Good pinch by Dumlick. He comes in right in front. Turkot trying to make a play. They do in the goal crease area and this goes all the way down the ice and Clark for Perry and walked along by Turkot with speed. Dropped to Lefir gets it. Shoots it in a good glove save by Solder Bloom. Kings winning 45% of the draws tonight. Hawks win this one. And that’s banked around. Cut off by Perry with some time and a shot off the stick of Solder Bloom. The ferior against Badard. One by the Kings back for Edmonson. Shoots it. Got through and a stop by the Swedish goalender. And we get a skirmish in the corner. And then Terrain steps in, shoots it up high, probably going over the net, but it’s caught by Forsber and Kismeo on the counter with Kee. And Kisco on the short side handled there by Solder Bloom. Kings after it. Handed back to Dowy as Denos steps in against Baddard and the Hawks get it back to the line on Grizzla. Shoots it low. Caught by Forsber and no rebound. Down is off wing. Steered around for Terrain. Back to Blic right on and a save by Forsber. Kaiser shot blocked by Moore. He can scoot as we know. Here comes Moore coming in and it rolled off his stick and covered by Solder Bloom. Yeah, Barded the first period. Leier and Fial in the second. Kings win the face off back for Cece. Wadey shoots it. Rebound. Copitar. And a save by Solder as Denote. Donado steers it in. Evansson again. Hard rim. Kempe shoots it. That goes down. Arma will get there and empty net. and he scores. Easy one for Kipe. And it’s an empty net goal for the Kings. Always the first men back. Always. Hard rim ke. [Applause] And you’ll see the end of it. But there was at least three times where the Hawks tried to get the puck in and get possession. Right. You got the goalender pulled. You’re going to because the Kings, we mentioned John, after they were fortunate to be only down by one and then they end up winning here by two. And the seconds tick down and that will do it. the Kings a 3-1 win in
