Brewers Are Embarrassed, Fan Reacts To Elimination
Welcome back to good sports for you where we are talking about good sports for you. And today, unfortunately for me, it is not good sports for me is what I will say. But before we hop into it, I want to remind you to like, comment, subscribe while we talk about the downfall of the Milwaukee Brewers and what the heck happened to the squad in the NLCS versus the Dodgers. For my longtime viewers, you can see I’m in a different setup. Um, I had to go home uh for some reasons, but I’m chilling for a bit for right now and I’ll be back to my normal setup in a few weeks, but just for a couple videos in order to keep coming them out, I’ll have to have be rocking with this. But, you know, we got a couple of bobs up here. We got Pat and we got Yelich. So, that’s that. So, with this Brewers team, it was a team of rambunctious individuals. I’ll say that. And I I’m a lifelong Brewers fan. I’ve been a Brewers fan my whole entire life. And it’s it’s a never- ending string of disappointments. We’ve won four playoff series in the history of my LA the history of the team period and this team felt different and it’s frustrating that we lost obviously you there are obvious flaws. The hitting was dreadful. I mean we’re going to go through it but the hitting was the biggest biggest concern. The Dodgers pitching their starting pitching was simply too much for us. And what I talked about in my playoff preview for this series is I talked about how the Dodgers starting pitching, we the Brewers needed to get through them. And if you can get them out of the game at a reasonable time, the bullpen is their weak spot. Well, guess what? That was true. It was true. Their bullpen was their weakest spot. They almost lost them multiple games. Blake Snell, he almost lost the game because their bullpen almost blew it in game one. like there were so many chances and the team just kept on falling short and it starts with the hitting. I want to highlight the good things that happened first though. Caleb Durban, this kid who went went to a D3 like almost Ivy League school who’s this short little dude was able to have a fantastic series. He had a 972 OPS. Jackson Churio, again, a kid, he’s a child. He did the one of the best of any of our starters. He had a 655 OPS, which is embarrassing that I’m saying he was one of the better players. Jake Bowers was one of the better players seen at a 555 OPS. A 555. And you’re saying he’s a hot bat? Are you serious right now? It was a joke. It was an absolute joke. And then you look at the stars and that’s where the team really fell apart. William Contrarus didn’t have a hit until game four and he batted 143 on the series with a 393 OPS and it only gets worse. Yelich Yelich this guy MVP winner Yelich MVP winner Yelich second in MVP the face of the franchise the largest contract in the history of the organization and he batted 071 with a 259 OPS. This isn’t an average. It’s not on base percentage. That’s not even your slugging. That That is your OPS 259. He He hasn’t had a RBI in the playoffs since 2018. And it’s not like this team hasn’t been there. They’ve been there every single year and he hasn’t done anything. And he’s the face of the franchise. He’s the face of the team. And it’s and it’s not even like he had competitive at bats. He worked the count. He looked silly in every single game. It was an embarrassment. Bryce Terra, a secondary star, a potential all-star. He could have been easily this year. He was hitting so hot. He had the home run against the Cubs that like helped propel us there. He batted 067 with a 192 OPS. Andrew Vaughn, King Vaughn, the guy that I talked about in the past, one of my first videos, was how was how he came out of nowhere and he was so good. helped bring this team to the winning streak and everything like that. He didn’t have a single hit all series long. He had a 77 OPS for your starting first baseman. Are you joking? And then you had your other guys, the guys that you’re like, “Hey, if they get some hits, you’d love that.” Joe Ortiz didn’t get a hit. 143 OPS. Sal Freelick 071 average, 142 OPS. They batted 118 as a team. That’s literally the worst ever. Like one of the worst ever. I saw a stat. It was like there hasn’t been a team that’s hit worse in a seven game series than the Milwaukee Brewers. And it’s it’s all credit to the Dodgers pitching staff. Blake Snell was untouchable in the first game. The Brewers had a chance though in that first game, which which really says something about the pitching in the team. Blake Snell pitched eight scoreless innings and the team almost came back. They were a hit batter short of tying it and Bryce Trang moved out of the way, which I don’t fault him for at all. I want to get that abundantly clear. I don’t fault someone for moving out of the way of a ball that’s coming at you at 90 mph that’s going for your kneecaps. It’s It’s fine. He’s a kid. What I will fault him for is then swinging at a ball that’s 5t of 5 in above the strike zone. You can fault him for that. Yamamoto game two Jackson Churiel first pitch home run that’s all he gave up a complete game three Tyler Glassnell five and two/3 innings one run though we needed to work the counts better Snell had a low pitch count he could have gone nine easy Yamamoto had a low pitch count through the whole entire game glass now you got the count up a little bit but then you lost to the bullpen and then game four I mean we saw the greatest single game ever by a player. Show Otani had quite literally the best game anyone has ever seen in the history of the sport. Six innings pitched, no runs, 10 strikeouts, and he hit three home runs. I’ve never seen a single player win a game before. And he did single-handedly. He did it all himself. He could have he could have pitched longer if they needed him to. And he hit three home runs, including maybe the longest home run I’ve ever seen live. Almost 470 ft. He cleared the pavilion in Dodgers Stadium. And I feel bad for the pitching for the Brewers because they did good. Jacob Miserowski, again, a kid, he pitched well in five innings. He had an RA of 180. Jared Kanik, four innings pitched, no runs allowed. Freddy Peralta, he he got roughed up a little bit. Five and two/3s inning, three runs allowed. Chad Patrick, two runs over four and one/3s innings. Abner, the guy who was fantastic in the NLDS, he got roughed up and he had a brutal air where he threw to first. And why are you throwing to first with two outs? Just focus on the batter. It’s the pitching was good, which is good. Which is good, which is great. One run is each game is humiliating. the team got embarrassed by the Dodgers and it’s like I’m upset because I expected more from some of our players from Yelich specifically and and I’m and I’m hurt because I’m embarrassed. I went on my channel and I hyped up my team and I said I think that we can take it to seven and I think that we can win in seven. I’ve never been more wrong about a take in my life. And I should have known. I should have known that you can’t beat a team that has Mookie Bets, Freddy Freeman, Show Otani, Tay Oscar Hernandez, and Will Smith. Cuz you can you can say Will Smith wasn’t looking great. Show Otani wasn’t looking great against the Phillies. Against the Phillies, but you know, these are a different brand of players. They’re not going to stay down. Show Otani is not going to be bad for two straight series. He’s not. And it’s upsetting because they pitched him well in the first two games and then the third he started to heat up a little bit but even so he didn’t look great. He looked foolish in some of those at bats. He was swinging at pitches that were way out of the zone. Like Robert Gasser had his number for Pete’s sake. And then and then in the last game you needed to win and he does what he does and he hit three home runs. I’ve never been more humiliated as a Brewers fan. and and it’s like if we won one then I’m fans we grabbed one but to get swept in such an embarrassing fashion. They’re a great team. They’re maybe the best team ever constructed. Show Otani is the best player ever. Ever. And there’s no argument anymore. Well, Barry Bonds this, Barry Bonds that. He never struck out 10 batters over six innings and hit three home runs in one game. Show Otani is the greatest player to ever live. I’ve been saying it the whole entire time. He’s the best to ever live and will be the best to ever live. I’m saying it. I don’t care. He’s the best to ever play and will ever play this game. And of course, you can’t keep him down. And it was foolish of me to think that we could. It was a joke of a series. It was a joke of a game by the Milwaukee Brewers. I’m humiliated. I’m embarrassed. And I feel bad for Caleb Durban and Jacob Miserowski and Jackson Cheurio. Jackson Turio was playing through injury the whole entire time and we couldn’t do anything. like he hit a home run against Yamamoto and that’s all we could do that game. He got hurt in game three. He got a cramp in his leg and he came out in game four and he still got hits. Yelich couldn’t do that. Terra couldn’t do that. Andrew Vaughn couldn’t do that. Sal Freelick couldn’t do it. Joey Ortiz couldn’t do it. Cheerio is a kid and he’s going out and fighting every day. And Caleb Durban, this rookie from Washington University, a D3 school, he’s this little pitbull. And he played so well in game three, a game where we had a chance the entire time, double, triple, stolen base, walks, he was doing everything he could, making good defensive plays, and we couldn’t do anything. runners left in scoring position, not taking advantage, not working counts. That’s the one thing I asked us to do. Work the count so the starting pitching can get out. And it we couldn’t do it. And as a Brewers fan, it sucks. It sucks cuz I know we’ll be back. I really do because this is a young, talented team. And I get that. Brandon Woodruff was hurt and that was brutal and I don’t think people are going to talk about that enough. And would it have mattered? Probably not. Probably not. We maybe would have gotten a game. Maybe. And the starting pitching, we weren’t getting anything. It was Freddy and that was our only starting pitching. And I trust and I trust Pat Murphy with everything. I really do. But the only pitcher who was an actual starter and not an opener for us was only Freddy Peralta. And that was it. Ashby was starting like every other day it seemed like and but like I said it’s frustrating and as a Brewers fan I don’t know when we’re gonna win it ever. My dad has been a Brewers fan his entire life and he’s seen us make the World Series once in 1982 with Robin Young and Paul Moler and we lost obviously to the Cardinals and I hate the Cardinals and and I’m like and I’m like I just hope that we can make it before my dad dies and it’s not like my dad’s old. It’s not like my dad is sick or anything like that but that’s just where I’m at. And then I’m like, I hope that we can make it before I die because I genuinely I don’t know if I ever can. I was telling my brother this last night and I said, I don’t know what I will feel at that moment when the Brewers win it all because that is a level of happiness that I have never known and I don’t know if I will ever know until the Brewers win. There are three things in my life that I don’t know the level of happiness I will be until it actually happens because I can’t even imagine how happy I will be when my child is born, when I have my wedding, and when the Brewers win the World Series. That’s it. And the thing is, it’s the same thing every year. My brother is an is an eternal optimist when it comes to the Brewers, and he every single year, this is our year. This is our year. And I’m not that way. I look at the team, I say, you know, we have this flaw here, we have this flaw there, and then we start playing and then we start winning and I’m like, you know what? This actually could be our year. And then it never happens. It never ever happens. And it sucks. And I don’t even know what to say. We lost to the better team. And I don’t want to label this thing, this video, what went wrong with the Milwaukee Brewers. What we couldn’t hit is what went wrong. and we lost to a team that is just better. We were outclassed in every way, shape, and form. And then we witnessed the greatest game ever played by a single player. Maybe in the history of sports, you can make a real argument. It’s the best baseball game ever played. And and and we we were sitting front row. When show hit that third home run, I started laughing. I went to my parents who were on a little bit of a delay and I and I watched and Look at this. And Chel had another one. My mom was just like, “What can we do? What can we do? There’s nothing you can do. He he’s he’s he’s the most unbelievable player I’ve ever seen.” And I can’t wait to say to my kids and my grandkids, and I can’t wait to say I got to see Show Otani live. I did. I’ll be able to say that because he will go into the mythos as a mythical character. He’s going to be like in that category of the Will Chamberlain 100point games. that Babe Ruth called shots. That is where show Otani will be and like the Brewers just they fell apart at the wrong time. Yelich couldn’t hit to save his life and and the team ran into a buzzsaw that couldn’t be stopped. The Dodgers had it click late and the Brewers had it fall apart late. And I’m and this this season is not a failure by any stretch of the imagination. It’s not. It’s not. It’s really not. But I’m disappointed and I can still be disappointed because I thought we had a chance. I liked the style of play we had. The regular season went our way. Regular season’s not the playoffs. And I don’t know if I would rather have this or to lose in seven like in 2018 to the Dodgers again. At least this time it was painful. I mean, not painful. Like this time it it it was like, “Oh, well that’s done now. Oh well, we didn’t have a chance.” In 2018, at least we got some wins and that was fun. But in 2018, it like it felt like we had a chance, which made it hurt all the more when we lost. And I just want to make a World Series, man. Like that’s all I want. And I don’t know when, if ever, it will happen. And it’s this team, it beats you down. It beats you down. and other fans don’t understand and I don’t want to hear it. I don’t want to hear it. I’ll give it to the teams that haven’t won a World Series. I’ll give you that. I’ll maybe give it to the Guardians fans because they’ve had an insanely long drought. They made the World Series in 2016. I don’t even know what that’s like. I almost started crying when the Brewers advanced this year against the Cubs. And it’s just I just don’t know if I see a path forward when you have a team that has show Mukbetts, Freddy Freeman, Yamamoto, Blake Snell, Will Smith, Tyler Glass. Now it’s it’s a it’s a it’s an embarrassment of riches and they embarrass the Brewers is at the end of the day that’s what it was. And you lost to Blake Trinan. Sorry that out of nowhere. Just remember that. Come on. He sucks now. It was a joke of a series and and I’m I want to put out an apology that says I’m sorry for giving people any hope that the Brewers could make it a series because clearly I was proven wrong. I said that we could go seven. We couldn’t even go five. I’m so I’m I apologize that I thought we had more fight cuz clearly we didn’t. But that’s what I got. Thanks for listening to Good Sports for You. I had a great time talking to you. I hope you had a good time listening. I really do and I appreciate it. Make sure to like, comment, subscribe, do all those things. But then I’m out.
Thank you for watching! The Brewers lose in the playoffs once again as the Dodgers embarrass the team in the NLCS. I give my thoughts on what happened to this team.

Everything that just happened. Come to find out you guys have Yelich signed until 2029. That's awful. No one would want him. But great season fellas. Go Dodgers
I don't really think they got embarrassed i think the dodgers lived up to their expectations during that for him series and during the year maybe other issues and pitching and injuries caused them to play more poorly. I projected the dodgers to win 130 games and thought they had assembled the best pitching staff of all time. I stupid that is true if they are all healthy. The brewers got the healthy dodgers living up to expectations. They will be better next year
U guys need mo money bro ,,,,,,,,,
I'll tell you what happened to the Brewers; The Dodgers happened to the Brewers.
The Brewers have a great team.
The Dodgers are a juggernaut.
Maybe it’s time to get some new bobble heads
As a Dodgers fan, I thought we were gonna be toast. Great regular season, at least you have some incredible highlight reels to go back and watch! You guys swept the Dodgers many times, go watch those videos and you'll feel better.
Great pitching beats great hitting and look at the 1963 Dodgers that beat the Yankees in the World Series. The Yankees only scored four runs in four games just like the Brewers who only scored four runs in four games. The Brewers had a great season compared to other MLB teams that missed the playoffs. I always say that baseball is only a game and is great entertainment unless you are connected to a MLB team.
You look young, Atlanta Braves dominated in 90s because of pitching staff, won only one because weren't close hitters enough to dominate. These Dodgers from 1988 to 2020, didn't win, made playoffs , times didn't, but when got right GM, Owners, Coach, pitching coach, and signed the right ones. Lost 2017 World Series vs Cheating Astros, then right back in 2018, but Red Sox with Mookie were way too good, nobody thinks had a chance. This team destroyed Mets and Yankees without all these pitchers, just 1, and bullpen saved them. The Chicago Cubs took you to 5, so that showed Philly gave Dodgers tougher series, and won 1. This is exactly like Yankees in 99, 2000, dominated, best players and hitters. The Giants won 3 with great pitchers, great C, and other okay ones, and a great coach, who retired, came back and Texas hired him, won World Series. Where are they now? Atlanta won 2021, no playoffs this season. Just because your family are big fans, your team swept Dodgers in July when many hurt out, team struggled, Where were Mets with all their money pay to team, you did better than them, Reds, etc…all you can hope for. Maybe if all your young players get better, new prospects come in, then by time these Dodgers are down like all will, it's your turn. Remember, us Dodgers loved 1988 and Kirk Gibson, then watched them in middle for 20 years. Your team with last 2 coaches made playoffs all the time , better than Dodgers then. It's their time, took a chance paying so much, most pitchers injury in MLB 2025, only reason your team had best record. San Diego Padres, look at their talent last 4 years, nothing. They would have swept this team also, Arizona made the World Series, you did better than both, all credit for bad hitting is the pitching, your team pitching was enough for 7 games vs any other, not these Dodgers now, next season, and after that.
The Dodgers a few years ago had the best record or close to it and still failed to make the NLCS twice. As fans we know your pain. We’ve had heartbreak in 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23.
I'm a Bleeding Dodger Blue, but your rant left me teary-eyed. I don't know why, it just did. Your Brewers will have their time. It will just come.
Brotha, dodger fan here. I understand your frustration! Dodgers made the the playoffs 7 straight years and lost every single year. Head up brotha!
Try not to be so hard on your team. You said it. They ran into four starting pitchers that are dominant. Hitting drops off when this occurs. Your team is an outstanding group, but you ran into the defending World Champs. You’ll rebound
The Cubs took all the last seasons momentum. I'm very proud of you for sharing your disappointment with honor. You are on fire with your numbers and identify critical issues for your club.
Also you can imagine what Pete Alanso might have looked like on 1st. YOUR OWNERS NEED TO SPEND
What an embarrassment
And why were the brewer fans practically silent when you guys were at home. Quietest game ever😂
I feel for you even as a Pirates fan, and although my team has a longer WS appearance drought, i was still cheering for you and the Mariners to face off instead of this Dodgers superteam (since i usually tend to root for impoverished franchises and against dynasties)
I couldn’t even watch game 4 since I knew it wasn’t going to be close, but at least the Brewers have a somewhat decent culture and the core is young (minus Yelich) and with 3 (maybe even 4) first-time champions within the past decade, it might actually be sooner than you expect!
Making a cramp sound like he it was a broken bone lmao
Mariners fan here waiting for Game 6. IMHO, The Brewers OVER-achieved. It also broke the myth (again) that having the best record in baseball? MEANS NOTHING come the playoffs. The only advantage it has is home "advantage" and Anyone like me who has watched the 4 leagues every year, the playoffs have a different gear and opposing teams come into YOUR house and kick your rear. My M's won 2 in Toronto, they won twice in our park. Hopefully we get to the WS, and prove better.
Until there is a salary floor and cap, it will be an eternal uphill battle. Or they get insanely lucky like the bucks in 2021.
As a dodgers fan… Most world series winners are a result of a Cinderella story run or a core thats peaking… sustained success is built on a foundation, its built on the back of a solid minor league system, a fundamental major league coaching staff, and a philosophy of winning and continuously improving, its not all about the money.. brewers are a solid team, ownership and your front office needs to build on these recent playoff trips and continuous to add, continue to hammer out the kinks and weak points until the team is built to conquer than mountain top.
Too many teams these days are built only to win divisions and or knock out their big brother rival.. brewers fall into that category, and unfortunately time and time again, thats proven to only get you so far, but almost never to the finish line
Losing is always disappointing.. but I’m happy we made it that far. We’re in re-tool mode rather than rebuild. Good spot to be
As for Turang.. that missed opportunity will stick with him forever. That’s why he swung at that next ball. He knew
Make sure you guys like and subscribe to his channel. Let's all help him grow his channel and see some videos of your thoughts and opinions of each game of the World Series..
Just another whiner, all the talk going in was 6-0 against the dodgers and confidence. Then they get swept against a healthy dodgers and the complaints about star power
As a Dodgers fan let me just say.. Haha and you guys wont get this close for a long time, your little rookies are gonna get big offers too hehe
Hey I think I even heard Dave Roberts say this series will probably go 7 games ! He was wrong too ! Lol
As a lifelong Blazer fan I can sympathize.
Your crash out is hilarious. How about the Bucks though? You guys just won in 2021? They're probably your best chance and a chip in Milwaukee
How many teams sport four #1 pitchers as their playoff rotation? Most teams are desperate to find a third guy good enough to finalize their playoff rotation. Brewers did not hit well, but hard to blame them when Ohtani was the fourth option and they sent Sheehan with a 2.82 ERA to the pen. I have to agree the Brewers game plan should've been to make the starters throw a ton of pitches to get them out of the game though, that would've been smart as hell to do.
Been a Dodger fan for 45 years and never have I bashed player performance. Sometimes certain players are not sharp and slumping, but more often than not it’s the opposition pitchers that are really good and makes it extremely difficult on hitters.
The reality is that this years starting pitching staff 1 to 4 is as good a group as there has ever been in postseason history. That and the intangibles that come with playoff experience is what has the Dodgers on the cusp of potentially winning another World Series.
Great pitching always beats great hitting, that’s been known since the game was invented.
here’s an embarrassing fact for Milwaukee to lament on …ohtani hit more home-runs than he allowed hits to the brewers
As a dodgers fan, you guys did pretty well.I mean , you were able to suppress mookie , freddie Max and teoscar That's phenomenal and you're right about the bullpin But I believe your failure could come back to your coach. He didn't inspire greatness or hope. He literally called you guys. The average Joe's. As if that's something good to call your team.
He didn't hype them up. He didn't instill confidence in his players and the players just like all of us can blatantly feel and see that your coach didn't have confidence in his team. And the players heavily picked up on that, and it demoralized them People thought calling us the monstars Would hurt our team's egos , but all it did was hype us up even more A huge part of the coach's job is to instill confidence in his team and he failed to do that
Feel the same as a Guardians fan. The two guys we can count on Steven Kwan and Jose Ramirez do zip…. so much for regular season numbers
If so the brewers got embarrassed by Dodgers So are the phillies and Reds
I believe the Brewers have a bright future if the organization is willing to spend more money.
Maybe you should have put in your little figures in the game and
maybe they’ll get better results LOL!!!!!!!!
Yeah, Dodgers brought the big guns. Ohtani had an historic night. The Brewers were led to the slighter… BUT… The Post Season is all about experience. Brewers will be better in the future. See you next season…. GO DODGERS!!
Milwaukee shouldn't be embarrassed. They got beat by a better team 1 through 9.
12:46 This literally made me cry 🥹 💔 May God give you ALL three! 🙏🏼
So a couple things. First this is some of the best commentary I’ve ever heard. Those clowns (A Rod, Derek Jeter & Co) SUCK compared to this kid! 💯 Second. I’m from SoCal. Lived here my entire life. I’m a dodger fan but I literally don’t care if they lose the WS this year. Too much of a good thing is boring for me. I literally won’t be mad if they lose to the blue jays or Seattle (which ever one wins tomorrow) It’s literally not fun when your team wins every time and I’m not joking.
'A man has gotsa understand his limitation, ' …it was once said…Shohei knew he wasn't hitting well so he practiced for the first time this year with live batting practice in Dodger's Stadium…the next day, it was history.
Your team are the regular season Champions remember 6-0 twice 🧹🧹. But that’s because our Ace’s pitchers were injured. Always to next season 🫡
Long time Dodgers fan. 1st, let me say I'm sorry forte the pain you're feeling. Your team don't let you down, the Dodgers are just that good now. I've lived through the disappointment you feel. Watching the Dodgers flounder while the Yankees add to their championships in the 1990s. The Brewers are a remarkably well run team. Yes, the difference here is money. If the Brewers had the Dodgers money, it would've been closer. That said, money isn't everything. The Phillies have spent like the Dodgers, but the Dodgers spent more wisely. They run like the Brewers, but with the money to get the stars. Look at what's behind the Dodgers star power, one of the best farm systems in the MLB. It takes money AND a patient, well run organization to be this dominant.
Fly the L and broom😂😝
Dodgers fan here. I like your honesty kid. I know how you're feeling right now. We had a 100 win season in 2023 only to get swept by the D-Backs in the NLDS. You guys have a good squad and I hope your mgmt builds on what they have. Keep your head up.
Sunshine always feels better after the rain.
Lovely analysis by a true baseball fan
The hitting was terrible ? There was no hitting !!
We didn’t blow them out every game ! Your team isn’t that terrible!!
You're the best analyst on the internet. Passion, complete, energy, everything. And I've been a baseball fan for most of my 70 years!
I'm one of 5 brothers and seeing your video took me back to the 1988 world series DODGERS vs Yankees. What made it special for me was it was just me and my dad going to the world series for the 1st time. I WISH THIS FOR YOU AND YOUR DAD because it will be special for the two of you. My Dad is gone but it's still a fresh memory for me. My Dad loved the DODGERS as I do and I'm happy for that memory. When the time comes for the Brewers world series, it will be that more special. They will win!
