[Arndt] Go home Oilers broadcast, you’re drunk

  1. If you ever want to feel better about Shorty, turn on the Edmonton broadcast- what a shit show.

  2. “Maybe if I give him first star, Leon will finally return my calls..”

    Gazdic, definitely

  3. Oh for Pete’s sake. 😳

Including Draisaitl is fair. He did have two goals. But the other two spots are for Sherwood and Boeser. There is no argument that Edmonton gets two of the spots.

    My stars would be:

    1. Boeser
    2. Sherwood
    3. Draisaitl

  4. How can the first star be someone on the losing team???…I know it happens sometimes, but what???

  5. ESPN+ switched broadcasts mid 1st period to the Oilers crew. App said it was a national broadcast and no other streams available.

Not only did we get this homerism for the 3 stars, I had to watch the replay of Drai’s breakaway to segue every commercial break. On every Canucks goal, Jack Michaels would go silent.

I just wish Jake scored one to make his old man feel even more awkward.

  6. It’s crazy how lucky we are to have such a good broadcast team from radio to TV that are obviously big Vancouver fans but rarely let it affect the way they call the game.

I don’t know how I would deal listening to the Edmonton or Toronto broadcast if I were a fan of those teams.

  7. Draisaitl had a great game but so did Sherwood and he scored the game winner therefore he’s automatically star number one. Star number 3 should’ve probably been Boeser, dunno why Roslovic is on there.

  8. FWIW, the Oilers broadcast did not get to choose the official three stars. Our media did.

The NHL app displays it: Sherwood, Draisaitl, Boeser

Today’s game was **not** considered a national broadcast. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have had the SNP broadast available.

  9. Lol oilers broadcast team are basically amateur night compared to Vancouvers. We’ve been spoiled
