Marshall Warren impresses in his NHL debut #Isles #shorts
I don’t know. And he played 11 minutes and 19 seconds, which I know is just not a a ton of ice time for a defenseman in particular, but it’s not like one of those where I’m going to draw the comparison and sorry to throw this guy under the bus, but there were games where like Samuel Book played like 10 minutes and you’re like, “Oh my god, that was very noticeable in those 10 minutes and not in a good way.” That wasn’t the case for Warren. Obviously, he had the assists and that stands out the most. Yes. But even his play defensively like there weren’t really any glaring issues I thought. No, it’s he seems nice and calm and steady and that’s exactly what you need obviously from a six guy. You don’t want to have to put someone out there and worry about it which was the case as you said rightfully so with Samuel Bzik. Um obviously Scott Peranovich kind of the same thing at least they thought so anyways. And so they’ve got a guy that they can trust now. It’s how much can we trust? How much more can we trust you? Uh, is it be more than boquis? Cuz that that kind of seems like who he’s fighting with at this point. And from there, can it even escalate from even to even more? Can you establish yourself as a full-time NHLER?
