Chiefs finally gave us some GOOD NEWS about Josh Simmons!

So, we finally got a pretty positive update and some clarity about the Josh Simmons situation. Now, to be clear, this is a personal matter and no real details were given, and I respect that. I respect his privacy, but Andy Reid spoke to the media today and gave a bit of clarity about what’s going on with Josh Simmons. Here’s what he said. Quote, “My update for you with Josh would be, there’s been communication. I’m not going to get into all of it, but everything’s positive. It’s not a negative situation. And the last thing that Andy Reid said at the beginning of his presser was, he’s taking care of family. So, we now know for sure it’s a family situation and it’s not a negative thing. He didn’t just ghost the team for no reason. We don’t have to speculate anymore or have wild theories circulating about Simmons. Andy Reed was then asked about a timeline for Simmons to return. And this is all he really said. It’s been positive. He’s taking care of business. So, that is the main thing right there. So, he’s taking care of family business. That’s the main thing. And then Andy said, “When you deal with this, that’s what you do.” And he’s been very good about communicating it. So, that’s about the best news possible we could ask for with Josh Simmons. They didn’t reveal details. He’s taking care of family. It’s positive. He’s been in communication with the team. And in the meantime, you’re going to have Jaylen Moore taking care of business of his own on the field probably this week being the left tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football because once again, Josh Simmons didn’t practice. His exact timeline to return is still probably unknown. But again, that is a positive update and I’m very happy to hear that things are at least trending in a good direction and I wish him and his family nothing but the

  13. Well I'm glad it's good news. Don't know the details of course but it seems he can do a lot for his family by playing football and earning millions. Maybe consider moving them to KC so he doesn't have to go all the way to CA to be involved.

  18. Ok I’m somewhat of two minds here. Of course take care of family. On the other hand, what job gives you several weeks of leave to do so. No job that I’m aware of even if there is a death in the family. Not multiple weeks . I’m not trying to sound harsh but this is the modern world and any business can be done via technology. He’s a rookie and doesn’t have the leave built up yet.

  26. We’ll be okay with him out. Would love to have him but family is way more important than football. I wish him nothing but the best. For anyone criticizing Josh, you are NOT a Chiefs fan. We are family in this Kingdom, don’t ever forget what all we been through.

  33. I’m kind of surprised no one in Los Angeles, or wherever he’s from, hasn’t spotted him out and about buying groceries or getting gas or whatever and posted about it on social media
