Saints fans when the offense is significantly worse without Erik McCoy:

Some of y'all have very short memories.

Was it. . . Good this year even with him?
We’ve had one of the worst red zone offenses all year. I’m not sure there’s far to fall.
Significantly? Really? Seemed same ole same ole. I was suprised how well we run and the fact it took overload blitzes to reach QB w/ McCoy out.
We still have pass catchers who need perfect passes before they can catch.
That is the greatest issue in my eyes. I never thought Rattler’s balls were that bad, Shoughs did look better but still.
Theres an image of the “Shough” interception and it boggles the mind how a WR can have two hands on the ball, all defenders 3 steps away and somehow that isn’t caught and the QB is taking accountability.
It can not be that hard.
Drake Maye’s supporting cast is complete ass and he got sacked 5 times by Myles Garrett on Sunday but still threw for 3 TDs and over 280 yards against a top defense with Mack Hollins as his WR1
Can’t say oh the offense can’t look competent anymore because our center is injured. Have to think bigger picture.
We need upgrades at nearly every offensive position.
The offense wasn’t significantly worse because McCoy was out.
We moved the ball up and down pretty easily on the Bucs. We just turned it over 4 times. We shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly, and honestly had 2 more fumbles that they decided to not give the Bucs, one which led to the FG.
Our offense is stagnant because our playmakers cannot make plays.
When was the last time one of our guys broke a tackle or made someone miss? Literally can only recall the Kendre run against the bills. Every other play has been down on first contact.
Idk how to look it up, but we have to have the worst yards after contact in the league.
And as a Saints fan this is why I picked up Bucs D/ST and Rams D/ST knowing full well how bad our interior is. McCoy was was the only thing giving some semblance our interior was doing a not shitty job.
