  1. I think this is the appropriate level of call out from a team leader.

No specific names. Not even saying the defense sucks. Just saying that isn’t good enough and spouting the truth. But also no bullshit.

Not everyone has the gravitas to make this sort of statement to the media, but I am glad Jamarr is doing it (and before the team is mathematically eliminated).

  2. When he requests a trade and the city riots I want everyone to remember how restrained and professional he was in these situations, absolutely inexcusable, better be NO jersey burning

  3. Amazing talent. Consummate professional. Leadership. Hands. Explosive speed. Great route runner. Physical. Blocks for teammates. And the man can dance? C’mon, new NFL all time GOAT WR incoming.

  4. Feel bad for him having to waste his talent to endure clownshow inept owner ship.
Dont feel bad a bout how much he is getting paid. Lol

  5. Good on you, Ja’Marr, for calling a spade a spade.

Publicly losing the locker room is the only possible way we get rid of Zac.

  6. There’s only so much of this incompetence these guys will take before they start looking for ways out.

  7. All of this reminds me of the interview with JSN when asked about Shane Waldron. JSN says “………………..are we live? He’s a nice guy”

I’m sure ZT is also a nice guy. That’s about all I can say about him.

  8. These stars are going to leave the first chance they get, and I don’t blame them one bit. The front office has all the answers for success, smacking them in their face, and yet they still ignore it. Sure, they’ve improved how things are run a great deal. Bringing in bigger free agents, making trades, and paying their stars fairly, but they’re still not there yet.

I used to think it was Mike Brown wanting to bring just enough success to make money, but now Im really starting to think that the Brown family is totally clueless with anything football. They dont know what the fuck theyre doing and it won’t change until they sell the team but that’ll never happen.

  9. I see Chase as an ultra competitor. He loves breaking individual records, but eventually those losses are going to hit harder than the stats. How many times have we seen him openly and visibly express his frustrations after a loss? Most guys in that locker room are PC after a loss, Ja’Marr is one of the very few who tells it like it is.

To me, Chase is the type of athlete who will do anything to win a Super Bowl, even if that means leaving Burrow, especially if JB9 can’t stay healthy. So far, Chase has spent almost two seasons of his prime career with backup quarterbacks and has been a good soldier for the Bengals the entire time.

If he eventually asks out, I won’t be frustrated one bit. I’d understand it completely and cheer for his success as long as it’s not with the Steelers and the Chiefs.

  10. He’s taking the loss to heart. Damnit I love these guys, the team, the city. Please I am begging you Zach, please figure it out, and if you can’t, leave…

  11. The Bengals lead the league in missed tackles by quite a big margin. Our defense is paper thin.

  12. Wait what did he say in the second half of this clip? I completely lost him after “in the moment, there’s a lot going on”…if that’s even what he said.

  13. Bottom line there are many that aren’t doing their job in that building. It starts from the top. Unwillingness to put the resources in place to be successful such as small scouting department, personnel development, coaching, and salary cap management have and should all be criticized.

The depth on this team is extremely bad. Many of these players aren’t even active roster worthy. To have such a lack of talent gathering speaks to the GM, scouts and coaches. This team is being kept afloat by its superstars.

The big question we have to find the answer to is it a talent gathering issue or a failure to develop the players that come here issue? The fact that Lou refused to play the young drafted players tells me it could be just bad picks. The fact that there is not a lot if extra money now since they have paid their qb and 2 wr’s top salaries tells me that it was up to the GM, coaches and scouts to draft and develop the incoming talent and they have failed miserably. Despite investing many high draft picks over the last several years this defense has done nothing but find new ways to find a lower floor.

With Trey not having an all pro season it’s more glaring as the d line has shown all time levels of ineptitude. Tackling has been a major issue over the past few seasons but continues to get worse. There is no real athletic talent that stands out and defensive players rarely if ever win individual matchups on most plays. There is also very little enthusiasm and excitement and the unit seems to play with little confidence. Also no leadership really to speak of. Players making many of the same mistakes week after week. It’s glaringly obvious these Players are subpar in terms of talent and also they are not taking to coaching fundamentals or those fundamentals are not being emphasized consistently.

It looks like a team that is lost and desperately trying to find answers. Anyone who is a bengals fan knew this game was coming. The one where the offense despite its moments of brilliance wouldn’t be able to cover for the ineptitude of the defense. Taylor who has tried everything to fix the defense in terms of switching personnel to replacing the coordinator and several defensive position coaches just isn’t getting results. You can win in the nfl with only half your team executing. The track record of defensive failure is long enough to say Taylor can’t fix it so it’s time he goes. Tobin is just as responsible imo and should be on his way out too.

  14. It’s about spending money wisely and drafting players that can play. Not Mike’s style. Aside from Burrow and Chase he hasn’t been able to do it in a long while. Needs a top 5 pick with no-brainers.

  15. It’s honestly getting hard to support this franchise. I’ve been a fan my whole life but our clueless ownership is wasting HOF careers. Like others have said, I wouldn’t even be mad if these guys requests trades, I would want out too if I was a player.
