TreVeyon Henderson sighting was excellent. My guess is that the Judkins/Ohio State comparison/connection made him play better.
Always good to win.
The time is now. Go add at the deadline to this team, they deserve it!
Look at it this way, Garrett sacked us 5 times and we were still able to persevere and score 32 on them
If the Browns make Garrett available for trade i would happily give up multiple firsts for him. Having Garrett would immediately make this team a favorite for the AFCCG and maybe even Super Bowl.
Drake Maye now leads the league in passer rating (118.7) and completion percentage (75.2%) he is also 2nd in yards per attempt (9.0).
If the Pats can shore up the protection this kid is going to be something really special.
I am so dangerously close to buying a Maye jersey
I have my childhood Brady one that’s a little snug and a gronk one with the old logo font. Due for an upgrade
Keion looks like trade fodder, I bought his jersey this summer too, dang
We’re back. It’s an easy schedule, sure, but this year, next, and beyond, it’s only uphill from here.
Alright, I’ve been skeptical most of the season but that’s it: this is one of the five best teams in the league. I’m not sure they have the experience yet to be Super Bowl bound, but now I think they should be buyers. The second half adjustments were so freaking impressive, especially on offense.
As for what they are buying, I do not think it should be another receiver as incomprehensible as that may have seemed preseason, and while a pass rusher would be great I also do not see it as a significant need. I believe they need a very good linebacker with good pass coverage skills because Spillane is our best one and he leaves a bit to be desired in coverage, motor and effort notwithstanding. If we can’t get a very good LB, I believe shoring up more OL and/or a great RB is the other path.
I’d trade 2 firsts for Garrett if he’s available, our defense would be elite with him. Garrett Barnore Landry and Milton Williams? Those guys would make our secondary elite
Man, someone will have to explain to me why the Pats and Maye get their performances constantly downplayed because of their strength of schedule, whereas the Colts have had just as much of a cupcake schedule so far (arguably even easier) and yet everyone’s jerking off to them.
No need to actually respond, I know damn well it’s because everyone’s mad we’re back to being good again lmao
I haven’t been this excited about football in a long time. Thank you pats.
I am looking for all the Drake Maye MVP content I can to keep riding this high.
Obviously at this point the sky is the limit for Drake Maye, but what do people think his **floor** is at right now?
I know he’s barely played a full season’s worth of games at this point, but it’s really hard to imagine someone playing as well as he has over this many games not at least being a consistent top-10 guy in the league. Barring injury or something wild, I just can’t imagine even a fall-to-Earth taking him below that level.
Rich Eisen said Drake Maye this season has more Touchdowns (5) then incompletions (4) on deep passes (20+ yards). That’s a wild stat.
