Spencer Rattler BENCHED! How It Unfolded, Is Tyler Shough New Orleans Saints’ NEW QUARTERBACK?

The New Orleans Saints made a major move with a midgame quarterback change. And now the New Orleans Saints season could look very different moving forward. And we already know it’s what you’ll be talking about. This is what you’ll be talking about. The New Orleans Saints made their quarterback change in the third quarter, shifting from Spencer Rattler to Tyler Shuck, and now the rest of the season has a massive question mark looming over it. Now, we broke down a bunch of different angles of this quarterback change in the live episode immediately following Sunday’s game. So, make sure you go back and check that out as well. And we’re going to dive into a little bit more about why I think the Saints ended up making the change after the first quarter. But to start things off, a big piece that I want to look at is how this impacts the way that the rest of the season goes. Should the New Orleans Saints stick with the quarterback change and turn things over to Tyler Shuck? because I think that this ends up playing pretty well in the Saints hands if they go that route because the season no longer becomes about showing up as a big team and getting some big wins and turning things around before the season’s over. The entire conversation now shifts to figuring things out at quarterback and getting an evaluation of the quarterback. If things don’t go well, like let’s say the same shift to Tyler Shuck. If things don’t go well for Tyler Shuck, then the result means probably going back to the quarterback pool, either via free agency, which isn’t massively talented this upcoming off season, or into the NFL draft, which yeah, I mean, you can argue has some talent, but has mostly underwhelmed so far this season. So, the Saints will come away out of the 2025 NFL season knowing, do they need to go back into the pool at quarterback, or do you invest your high draft picks as the Saints currently sit with the number one overall selection in the 2026 NFL draft and could go so far as to hold on to that with the way that things have looked for this team so far. But if they do that, no one’s going to really bat an eyelash at this team any longer because unlike Spencer Rattler’s start week one, there was a lot of, “Hey, could this team potentially surprise in some way?” You heard analysts outside of New Orleans saying a lot of things like, “Hey, this guy’s going to be a household name and the Saints are going to be better than everybody thinks and all of these other things.” And turns out none of that was true, right? None of that is who the New Orleans Saints are here in 2025. This is a, you know, a team that struggles on offense, a team that has proven to be, you know, mostly or or at least majority so far this season a little disappointing, certainly on the offensive side. Um, and a team whose defense kind of came to life, but just kind of didn’t really get the balance from the offense that we’ve seen. So, sometimes it’s been all defense, sometimes in this game it was all offense that was the big issue for New Orleans. And so now like the rest of the season shifts from being can the Saints instill hope? Can the Saints instill hope? Can the Saints instill hope? Can they show direction? Can they find their identity to can they figure out their quarterback? And that might be actually a little bit more comfortable for where the New Orleans Saints are. This is a team that came in expecting to have one roster and has an entirely different roster. And if their conversations go from being around how do we get the most out of what we’ve got and instead turn to what do we have, then all of a sudden the season just gets a little bit lighter for you. And I could see the Saints going that direction now. What do you have on this roster? You get Deon Neil out there for the first game, you don’t give him a single carry, maybe an opportunity to evaluate him next week. You have some other young players that could end up stepping in there. I mean, you’ve certainly seen a lot of Kelvin Banks Jr. You’ve seen a lot of some of these other young players, but can Danny Sutzman get back out on the field on defense? And can you get a full evaluation of? Do you like what you’ve seen from Quincy Riley to where you want to continue to roll with him? I think so. We’ll highlight him and the defense here in a little bit. But now you also add on top of that a rookie quarterback that comes in and starts and all of a sudden all the pressure goes away. You no longer have to prove that you’re a better football team. You no longer have to prove that you’re, you know, creating upward trajectory for yourself. You no longer have to prove that you can turn things around. That’s not going to be the case for the team. The team can instead or the the majority of the team at least, right, the these players work their butts off every week and they want to go out there and they want to win and I know that that’s going to change, right? I think that that will be a big part still happening for the team or for the player perspective. But when it comes to what it is that the organization needs to prove, it’s effectively nothing. Saints won’t have to prove much because even if they can’t prove that they picked the right guy at pick 40 overall at the quarterback, they’re right back in position to make a large uh investment this upcoming offseason. So, the pressure just kind of lights in a way and I think that could be a welcome thing for the New Orleans Saints. I’m not trying to spin this into a positive. It’s just one of those things that I think about like, yeah, well, I could see the Saints really like leaning into this. It’s one of the reasons why I think that it is it feels likely that the Saints would just stick with Tyler Shuck moving forward, especially after making such bold decisions around not getting what you want to see from Spencer Rattler and the New Orleans Saints offense under him, right? Seems a little weird to like make that change and then double back on it and say, “Never mind, we’re going to give the we’re going to give Spencer Rattler another chance.” Like for for what, right? Like so the logical inconsistency of that is not something that I expect from this team. And so we’ll see exactly where things go, but I do see where and how the changing of the guard, if you will, at quarterback for New Orleans could send them into entirely different trajectory for the rest of the season to where it’s all about evaluation and getting a look at young talent, which is what I think this team probably needs to do from here forward in order to know what to do for its future. I also think that a lot of the reason why Spencer Rattler was benched in this game, yeah, it probably had to do with turnovers, but probably wasn’t just turnovers. Remember, the Saints offense has had some trouble attacking deep down the field. And a lot of the reasons for that was because of what we talked about with those two high shells, right? Shell defenses that are taking away things and putting a lid on the top, not allowing you to get those explosive plays. They want you to throw intermediate, throw short, or they’re daring you to run because scoring efficiency is less on those plays than they are on the big explosive plays. And there was something about the way that the Tampa Buccaneers played defense on Sunday that I think maybe turned that narrative or excuse if you will on its head. And I think that was a big part of why the New Orleans Saints might have made the decision to change things over from Spencer Rattler to Tyler Shuck. So before we get to the defense, let me break that down for you as the Bucks defensive looks might have also been a big part of why the Saints made their change at quarterback. Let’s get to that next as we continue on with today’s episode of Locked on Saints for the Locked on Podcast Network, your team every day. Stop making excuses and start making moves. All right, family. It wasn’t just the turnovers that ended up doing Spencer Rattler in, if you will, uh for this game up against the Tampa Buccaneers. remember he had the the four turnovers against the Chicago Bears. Also sacked four times in that game as well. Then comes in in the first half, two turnovers in the first two quarters, was also sacked a pair of times, too. And so really a trio of times. And so New Orleans, it’s so easy to just kind of boil all of it down to just that and say, well, that’s why they made the change. And look, I I think all of those things obviously factored in. There’s no doubt about that. Although protection was in and of itself a struggle for New Orleans that didn’t really have a lot to do with Spencer Rattler, but I do think that there was something else that ended up feeding into this. And we talked about like the inconsistencies over in the offensive side. And one of the things that Kyle, excuse me, that um Kell Moore said immediately after the game was that turning things over to Tyler Shuck had a lot to do with trying to provide a spark to the offense, inconsistencies on offense, all those other things. Uh, one of the things that I also asked about was the sort of moniker that the team has carried all offseason about three-pointers and layups. And clearly something’s got to exist in the middle. And so I asked Spence I asked Kell Moore if he felt like they were relying on the layups a little bit too much. And he said that he did have of course a desire for a more explosive offense and wanted to generate more explosivity and all those other pieces. And so that sent me looking at why the explosive plays weren’t there. And earlier on in the season, we heard a lot of like things like shellfest and shell defenses and two high safeties or even amounts of safeties that were taking things away for the New Orleans Saints. And in this game, that wasn’t always the case. In fact, the Saints, according to NextG stats, based on 20 different passing attempts, single high safety looks, meaning that there would have been opportunities up against cover one to take some shots down the field along the perimeter and against cover three to take some shots in the middle of the field as well as maybe down the seams. And the Saints didn’t do any of that effectively while Spencer Rattler was in the game. Now, they didn’t do it any more effectively once Tyler Shuck was in the game, but I do wonder how much that consistent issue was something that played into the Saints decision to bench Spencer Rattler and turn things over to Tyler Shuck. During this game, just looking at Spencer Rattler’s passing chart, he completed only two passes of more than 10 yards downfield. And he completed only one pass on five different attempts of passes 15 or more yards downfield. the only pass that he comp only two passes or the only pass that he completed less than 15 but more than 10 ended up being around 13 yards on the left sideline. And so I wonder how much that also has to do with the decision to sit Spencer Rattler and turn things over to really any quarterback, but of course Tyler Shuck in this situation. So I think it’s more than just being about the turnovers. It’s more than just being about sacks. It’s more than just being about those plays. I think that there’s a level of inconsistency that the Saints were growing frustrated with on offense and then made the decision to try to provide some kind of a jolt over on that side of the football. We’ll see if they continue in that lane or in that direction or if they try to turn things back over to Spencer Rattler, which I think would be I don’t know. I I don’t know that that’s necessarily the strongest choice because you’ve already effectively said this guy doesn’t run the offense that the way that we want him to run the offense. And so then turning things back over to him, I don’t know. I maybe it’s a wakeup call moment, like a coaching moment in that case. But that doesn’t feel like the way that you would go. It feels like this team that has been consistent about not wanting to flip-flop when it comes to quarterbacks has probably already made its decision. But we won’t speak on behalf of the team. We’ll wait to see what the team does later on this week. Kell Moore saying that they wanted to give 48 hours to make this decision and then have their starting quarterback ready for next week starting on Wednesday in practice. The New Orleans Saints defense, I thought, showed up huge in this game. It was probably their best game outside of that New York Giants game where they walked away with five consecutive takeaways. Hard to beat that performance. But this game in particular, I thought that the Saints defense was really, really strong. And three players stood out to me. Really, four players stood out to me um all together. I thought Pete Warner probably had one of his strongest games and just in time because he’s going to be one of the names that we’re going to talk about here in a little bit as a potential trade piece. Uh the Saints getting Chase Young back is clearly helping them quite a bit over on the defensive side. Chase Young was awesome in this game and really has been a big part of the revitalization of the New Orleans Saints pass rush over the course of the past couple of weeks. Uh the Saints blitzed a lot over on the defensive side going up against Baker Mayfield. That worked for them very well. But also getting the pressure from Chase Young, who um is credited with a total of three total pressures, but getting to the quarterback twice and getting a hurry. Also played very well in the run game, too. Uh was credited with three stops, one tackle for a loss on the game, but then also had the strip sack, recovered the fumble, wisely went down. so that he didn’t get the ball poked out and all these other things. He was kind of laughing about that after the game. So, I think that that was that this was maybe a big time arrival game for the New Orleans Saints defense, who I thought actually played well on the passing side of things last week in Chicago, but obviously struggled giving up 222 rushing yards up against the Chicago Bears. Only 388 rushing yards in this game up against a Tampa Buccaneers team that was in the lead pretty much the entire game. So, really, really good stuff from the defense there. So, I highlighted Pete Warner, highlighted Chase Young, but I thought that the starting corners, Kool-Aid McKinstry as well as uh Quincy Riley getting things done throughout this game as well. Kool-Aid McKinry had a pair of pass breakups in the end zone, a couple of fades that went his way on the second near goal line stand. He was actually targeted seven times in this game. Seven times. And allowed just two catches for nine yards is what was credited to him immediately after the game. in the initial reporting by Pro Football Focus. But in any case, a very strong game for Kool-Aid McKenry, who looks to be catching a little bit of a rhythm going up against uh these past couple of teams. So that would be good news for New Orleans because if you have your edge rusher cooking, if you have your CB1 keeping passes away from top wide receivers on the opposite team, that’s a lot for your defense. That’ll get you going over on that side of the football. And then I’ll highlight Quincy Riley as well, who was also targeted twice, allowed just two catches uh in this game. Uh ended up allowing up to 31 uh yards, but not a big deal in this one. I thought that he had a fairly strong game. Also, two defensive stops as well, which are plays that are consecutive that are considered either negative or, you know, losses for a run game. So, he continues to show up in the run game as well. was also credited with a pass break up too or or excuse me with a pass defense as well. So strong game from each of the corners and strong game of course from Chase Sean. We’ll continue to take a look at this defensive performance because Brandon Sy’s defensive scheme looks to be picking up some momentum here at the middle point of the season. Coming up next, the New Orleans Saints are going to receive some trade calls as they fall to 1 and seven. But how aggressive are they willing to be? We’ll take a look at the names that the Saints could potentially look to move before the trade deadline arrives on November 4th. Let’s get to that next as we continue on with today’s episode of Lockdown Saints, part of the Lock on Podcast Network, your team every day. The New Orleans Saints might not be ready to fire when it comes to their roster, but they will definitely or at least should be definitely be open to taking offers. That’s something that the New Orleans Saints will have until Tuesday, November 4th to get done in the afternoon should they want to trade any pieces and potentially recoup some draft capital, which this New Orleans Saints team desperately needs, especially over on the offensive side, and could use still some more help on the defense as well. So, for New Orleans, this next week could be really important because a the Saints could move on from some players before the Rams game or showcase some players one more time before trading somebody away on Monday or Tuesday before the actual I think it’s 400 p.m. Eastern time deadline uh for the trade deadline. So, these next couple of days, next few days this next week, really, really important for the future of the New Orleans Saints. Much like we were talking about with the quarterback position, if the Saints start trading pieces away to add draft capital, then that becomes really important for their future. So, I want to highlight some of the players to keep an eye out on over the next little bit. First of all, I want to start off with Chris Olive because it sounds like via reports, and this is not surprising, that the Saints are not going to be looking to trade away Chris Olive. So, we can probably strike him off the list. It sounds like the Saints are more interested in getting an extension done with him. It will be very interesting to see what that extension looks like. Do you pay him Garrett Wilson money or do you pay him more Jameson Williams money depending upon what it is that you expect his role to be in your offense? I think the New Orleans Saints are going to be in need of a big-bodied wide receiver this off season. And I mean a topflight big-bodied wide receiver in addition to Devon Vele. And so finding your quote unquote number one wide receiver or your ex receiver might lead the Saints to looking at Chris Ave more as a second wide out complimentary field stretcher instead. So we’ll see how the Saints go about that and that contract if they get that done before the trade deadline will tell you a lot about what Chris Lav’s role is going to be moving ahead through beyond rather this season. then that means that you then shift focus to guys like Rasheed Shahid as well as Brandon Cooks. I don’t see Rasheed Shahed moving for anything less than a fourthround pick. And I don’t know that the Saints are specifically shopping him more than it is that they’re obviously going to get some phone calls about him. There were already some reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers had been checking in, but you have to imagine that. Oh, and the Giants as well, but you have to imagine that other teams like the uh uh B uh Buffalo Bills uh would be pretty pretty excited about a guy like Rashid Shahid as well, pairing him up with an enormous arm in Josh Allen. So, we’ll see what happens there. But, I think that’s going to take a little bit of a higher price, a third or a fourth round pick. I think a fourth round pick so you recoup what you gave up for Devon Vele, a third round pick because you’re trying to get better than what the compensatory selection might be if you let him walk at the end of the season or if he decides to walk and sign elsewhere after the season. So I think those two things would be the big factor that kind of sets what his market looks like, his trademark rather looks like. As for Brandon Cooks, Cooks was moved for a fifth round pick back in 2023. He was moved for a 2023 fifth round pick and a 2024 sixth round pick if I recall correctly. And so a couple of day three picks, one year removed from one another. And I can see the Saints coming up with a similar deal there. Brandon Cook signed here in New Orleans with a very different understanding of what this team was going to be. At the time, Derek Carr was still the quarterback. This team looked like they were still ready to try to compete. Now Derek Carr retired, Tyron Matthew retired, states were kind of forced into this rebuild developmental year. And that’s probably different than what Brandon Cooks expected. And so could he potentially be on the move? That would feel like something that would be mutually understandable between the two. A move like that though would also make Brandon Cooks has to be one of the only players ever traded by an NFL team, the same NFL team twice, maybe even the first player. I haven’t really been refined anything on that. And it would certainly make him the most traded player in the NFL five times, surpassing Kiko Allonzo and Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson uh for that record. other players to keep an eye out on. U you know, Saints could potentially move a guy like Carl Granderson for some premium draft capital, right? You move an edge rusher, you tend to get some good return back there. But I think the Saints would like to keep Carl Granderson. There’s no telling what the future of Carh Cam Jordan is beyond this year. And the Saints could potentially still be looking to add another young edge rusher in this year’s upcoming draft or in free agency. We’ll see how they want to address that. But I could see a guy like Carl Grannerson hanging around, but obviously somebody that could potentially return some pretty nice draft capital if the Saints wanted to go that route. And then some other younger or some other veterans that could potentially get the Saints at least some value. Quarterback Isaac Yadam. He was healthy going into this game, but the Saints still started Quincy Riley on defense. Yadam served a big role still though on the special team side and of course for depth, but if the Saints wanted to, they could potentially, if there was interest, move him. And then Pete Wernern would be another one that would make a lot of sense. The Saints have been slowly filing in Danny Stzman. Didn’t do so very much in this game, but still also filed in Isaiah Stalbert, who almost got a sack in this one. So, the Saints could potentially feel really good about the young pieces they have at linebacker and then take that opportunity then to go and shop a guy like Pete Werner to see if he could potentially draw some interest from teams like the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers who could be looking for some pretty good all-around uh linebacker help, which is something that Wernner could help to provide. All right. So, as we wrap up here, the next thing that I want to do is take a look real quick at our player of the game, as well as our turning point. And we’ll kick everything off with our player of the game. This is the locked on player of the game. And for me, this one’s obvious, right? It’s Chase Young, right? One and a half sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery as well. Also had four tackles, including three defensive stops and a tackle for a loss. This was a fantastic game by the defensive end in the type of game that the New Orleans Saints needed to see that he could have. And so for New Orleans over the course of the past couple of games, Chase Young has been one of the better players on the field. And that’s exactly what Brandon Sy’s defense needs as it continues to begin to take some shape here. I do think Koulie Mckentry was close for me on this one, but the turnover and the impact plays of the sacks really kind of put put it over the top for me for Chase Young. But look, two pass breakups in the end zone cannot be understated in terms of the contributions from Kool-Aid McKinry on the defensive side of the football. But I’m going to go with Chase Young for this week. Kool-Aid got a, you know, NFC defensive player of the of the week award just a couple weeks ago. So, I’m sure he’ll forgive me for going with Chase Young in this one. Uh, now let’s take a look at the turning point, which is a little unique for this week’s game. Time to reveal where the game was won or lost. It’s the turning point. This one’s really interesting because to me, the turning point was probably the first turnover for New Orleans, which is very, very early in the game. Maybe even the interception, the pick six, right? either one of those turnovers I think you could point to that just sort of immediately put the New Orleans Saints in a situation to where they felt like they were out of it. And that’s I think one of the biggest things that’s been so intriguing about this season is that when any little thing goes wrong for New Orleans, the energy just completely dispands in a way that makes it feel like that’s it. That’s it. A sevenpoint gap might as well be a 14point gap, which might as well be a 28 point gap. so on and so forth. It exponentially just feels that the Saints are just out of a game or at least have the feeling of being out in a game. And we’re not always used to seeing that when it comes to New Orleans Saints teams, right? But we’re getting a little bit more accustomed to seeing it unfortunately over the course of the next or the last few years. But this has been a trend for New Orleans is that at earlier and earlier and earlier points, it feels like the team is already down and out. something that the Saints would love to put behind them or or a feeling or a sensation that the Saints would love to put behind him. And that’s one of the reasons why I think that the extra piece to this turning point, what makes it so unique about this week might be that moment of benching Spencer Rattler and turning the offense over to Tyler Shuck. it was only for this game for right now. But if that turns out to be the long-term future for the New Orleans Saints for 2025, and that they do decide to stick with Tyler Shuck the rest of the way through, which again, you can make arguments for and against, both with logic, the turning point of the season becomes that moment. And again, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the team’s going to become a contender right away, but it certainly changes everything about what comes next for the New Orleans Saints. We appreciate you very much for being here. Make sure you come through for tomorrow’s episode. The New Orelans Saints benched Spencer Rattler for Tyler Shough and now must decide the direction of their rest of their 2025 NFL season. Kellen Moore may want to get a look at what Shough has to offer before the offseason, but is now the time? A quarterback change at this point could end up being the kind of relief the team could benefit from after a struggling start to the season.
Chase Young and the Saints’ defense stood up big time to Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense. Kool-Aid McKinstry and Quincy Riley continue to impress at cornerback. With the NFL Trade Deadline right around the corner, the New Orleans Saints are no longer expected to move wide receiver Chris Olave, but Rashid Shaheed, Brandin Cooks, Pete Werner, Carl Granderson and Isaac Yiadom are all potential pieces that could generate interest as the Nov. 4 deadline nears.

Nobody with a brain thought Rattler would be a success!
Bresee is garbage against the run
Honestly …. I saw Rattler convert like 3 third downs that got called back on holding penalties. Overall I think he’s played pretty damn well considering. The Bears game was rough but I think he’s played was just trying to do to much . He’s pressing . Slough’s lack of mobility with this OL is gonna be comical .
Fuck both QB's
A Quarterback change isn't going to change the trajectory of the Saints season. They need to make changes on both sides of the ball. Not only is this year a rebuilding year, but so is next year and the year after that. Saints will be rebuilding for a while, especially with Mickey Loomis in charge.
Neither Rattler or Shough can be evaluated with this abysmal offensive line play, the lack of a tight end, WRs who can't catch and no running game. Heck, even Drew Brees would struggle surrounded by such mediocrity. At this point, some assets should be traded and effort focused on TE, WR, O-line and the pass rush! Personally, it feels senseless to be crying QB when everything else is sitting at zero!
Rattler is not the (only) problem. They can’t block at all, especially at TE. Would like to see them sign Luke Lachey off the Texans PS.
Who Dat
rattler has had over a half of a season to show some signs of growth. i felt like he showed more promise early on when it was basicallly pre season. shough has had one half of football to show and people are already saying he isnt it. maybe he isnt but lets a least give him multiple games before we grade him. I feel like the same people who dont like shough think rattler hasnt been given a fair shot and honestly find ways to pass the blame on others. All of these things can be true and i agree with some of those assesesments but if you are judging Shough at this point then you kind of are a rattler fanboy and a shough hater..just cheer for the saints and put your personal preference aside lol
This is probably the worst team I've seen since the Mike Dikta Era & is probably worser. The frustrating part is that this is a talented team.
Please get rid of Olave!! He has had too many concussions, he isn’t a great catcher, he is always catching the ball and sliding down…no run after the catch!! Not worth keeping IMO.
Quote: "Not only is this year a rebuilding year"….We are NOWHERE close to "rebuilding"….This is the year when the reality of how awful the teams decisions have been comes to light…Almost everyone on this team is expendable minus the two OL/Tackles. That is where any "rebuild" starts. If the first or second pick falls to us and we don't trade down and stockpile picks, the front office can and will be the only ones to blame.
it’s not about Ws and Ls at this point, need to assess what you have so really play both
Ross about to be wrong again
We keep talking about qb like it’ll fix this team… the team is ass
This team needs a real leader at the Head Coach position!!
From week to week, I see no progress as a team. It seems like we get worse every week. It looks mostly like coaching problems to me.
The last time this team played complimentary football was week 2 against Dallas last year y'all count how many weeks straight that is
I think both Rattler and Shough have potential. Rattler seems too serious at times, maybe it’s just me. But I love seeing his growth. Even when it comes to tough games against teams like the Bears.
Now Shough playing the latter half of the game I quickly caught glimpses of something. The dude has more aggression in his style and he’s not shy when it comes to using his legs. These are two big pieces to the QB role and I can already see that in him. Now I think its only fair we start Shough against LA and allow the team to coalesce around his tempo and see what happens.
Who Dat!!
That pick 6 by the DE sums up Rattlers career in 1 play
It's so disappointing that we wait 7 months for football to return and we get THIS!! This team does not even play like a team in transition with so many penalties, mistakes with executing etc. For a roster that's full of experience!! This is all on coaching, for the simple fact that this team keeps showing up largely unprepared week in and week out.. It's starting to look like Kellen Moore was not yet ready for such a huge role of a Head Coach!!
If shough does start and struggles. Do you go back to rattler or give the job to hill. The only other qb on the roster to have a win as a starting qb.
Honestly I don’t mind keeping these 2 quarterbacks over the next couple of years and building a decent roster around them , if I’m Coach Moore I’m drafting offense the 1st 3 rounds of the next draft because we barely score 20 points every game yet this defense usually keeps us in these games at least until late , so we need an infusion of offense playmakers and probably a left guard cuz, Penning most likely will be serviceable at best or replace Ruiz also in the draft
At what point do we look at Kellen Moore. Rattler has played pretty good football over 8 weeks minus the turnovers in week 7. Week 8 wasnt all his fault even though thats what they are making it out to be. I wanna see the saints build this QB room with the two guys they have and build everything else around it.
Rooting for both Rattler and Shough. But I do feel that Rattler has more to offer hes just having a hard time. And without Erik McCoy its only getting harder.
We were told this season was going to be like this. The divided house of shough and rattler was brought on by making qb battle go on so long. Starting qb should have had 3 pre season games to get most raps. Defense has played well enough to win a few games but should file for divorce from offense for nonsupport! Shough's turn and now everyone says no don't start him against the rams. Hell this is the NFL anybody can open a can of whoop ass on you. Go be great Tyler whodat.
They should go out and get obj for the WR
Steelers or Broncos going to get one of our players this week. Likely Shaheed and or Taylor. WR’s are deep class this draft year.
Coach Moore is striking me like DA. A damn good coordinator, but a bad head coach
