At 10:30 he reads the safeties post snap. I’ve seen enough. I don’t want to see Rattler again
It’s obviously ridiculously early to say anything, but it’s interesting seeing them talking about some of the things that stood out for me yesterday too.
First thing being his ability to throw where the receiver will be open, not where he is open, something that Rattler has struggled with his entire career. The “anticipation” was there on some throws, even without getting reps with 1st team since August.
Shough might be better than Rattler, or he might be worse. No one here knows it yet, but we were asking to see him exactly so we could find out.
He has some really interesting tools, being tall, big arm, can pass on different angles, is fast, seems to progress fast through his reads. Hope he turns into a good QB for us.
He definitely seems to have a higher ceiling than Rattler. And Idt you can go back to Rattler now that he was benched without injury.
I do think it’s odd seeing people saying he looked poised, as I saw the opposite. He had happy feet, and rushed the throw when Shaheed beat his guy. That being said, his arm was live af, and some of the throws were perfectly placed balls.
I’m rooting for him to improve week to week, and settling in and becoming more comfortable.
What I’m also seeing is that our WR’s were actually able to have YAC opporunities for the first time this season
Watched the video. 45 mins and a lot of excitement from the film guy when there was really only 1 good throw from Shough. I want the best for both Shough and Rattler but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here… that overthrow to Shaheed was really bad. Might be in for a rough time on the road vs the Rams
