    Edit: anyone who doesn’t like this trade probably also wishes we kept Earnest Jones last year just to see him walk in free agency and also so that we wouldn’t have Gunnar Helm this year.

  4. Sucks we couldn’t get a 4th but I guess since he’s in a contract year no guarantee he even stays with the Rams so the pick is meh

  9. Very high likelihood that McCreary would not re-sign and go to free agency. The Titans are going nowhere, he’s going to be one of the most sought after free agent cornerbacks. Good to get something while we can and move on with the tank.

    This front office has done nothing but preach about draft and develop so let’s see them put their money where their mouth is. The fanbase has to have some semblance of patience and let Borgonzi/Brinker bring in their own personnel. This will be a long few years as a Titans fan. I hope AAS also has some patience and gives these guys 2-3 more off-seasons to actually attempt to build something around Cam Ward.

  11. BOOOOOOOOO. At this point can the team pay me to play CB we will get about the same production, I will take whatever minimum salary cause it will still be more than i make in a year or 2.

  14. So…. Baker, Armour-Davis, and Harris. Not counting on Sneed for anything.

    That’s a buck wild CB lineup. Hope Borgonzi works his magic with all these late round picks. This defense is pretty much unfieldable at this point. Are they going to move one of our safeties to corner? Great safety depth, absolutely barren at CB.

    Sigh.

  20. Titans over the past years: we have no backfield that is able to stop teams at 3rd & whatever. Our defense is basically swiss cheese when the opponent has a decent passing attack.

    Finally we found some decent starters in McCreary and Brownlee.

    Titans: sell em for scraps. We don’t need young talent on this team. We are rebuilding!

    But you keep fucking sneed? That guy should have been sold after week 3.

    Draft promising young CB in the 2nd – 5th round…

    CB performs well/above expectations and earns a starting role…

    trade CB on rookie contract for a late round pick…

    have a hole at CB so spend a mid round pick or higher at CB to address need…

    never address the teams other needs adequately…

    repeat in 2 – 3 years.

  34. Ok. Finding out he wasn’t going to re-sign and it’s his contract year, this makes sense. This season is beyond lost. If you can get a taker for any player on a final year, take it now. Nobody in their right mind will want to re-sign here.

  35. Why do this trade? I don’t get it. McCreary seems worth more than that. Maybe he asked to be traded and they were helping him out?
