The most frustrating thing about all of this is that everyone knew the Queen trade was horrifically awful.
Not just because you were trading for another Zion type weeks after trading away BI was admitting it was a failure to have two ball handling poor shooting, bad defending players…
But also because everyone knew the team was going to suck this year and burdening us with no 1st rounder is malfeasance. The personnel trade was dumb enough, but not ensuring some pick protection should honestly have gotten him fired on the spot.
I’m gearing up for absolutely the worst year of my Pelicans fandom since moved here in 2012. After a decade of getting fucked over by bad luck, now we are getting fucked over by gross incompetence.
