🚨BREAKING: Titans Trade Roger McCreary To The Los Angeles Rams | Tennessee Titans News

And we kind of saw the writing on the wall. This was the biggest trade target that we saw from the last I don’t know how many weeks. It said the Titans are shopping mccreer. The Titans are shopping mcc career. The Titans are shopping mccreer. And it finally finally happened. Do I agree with it? No, not really. But the one thing that it just tells me after their blowout loss to the Indianapolis Colts that the fire sail in Tennessee has begun. And what do I mean by that? That I don’t think that this is the first domino to fall. I don’t think that this is going to be the only trade that the Titans send someone away. They’re one and seven. The season’s pretty much over. It’s time to start thinking about the future. And clearly, they did not see Roger McCreary in in their future as he is a free agent after this season ends. Titans are sending Roger McCreary to the Rams for a conditional fifth and sixth round pick swap per sources. And then the Titans later confirmed that just about a couple minutes later. Yes, since they had a free open roster spot, which was probably part of their plan all along, they’re adding to their roster. And who are they adding? Well, they’re adding an edge rusher. Truman Jones. He was on the Patriots practice squad and he was signed this morning to the Titans active roster. So, he will be a part of that 53man roster. And we already know that the Titans are dealing with some injuries at the edge position. We know that Feiola Dejo is on IR with that fibula injury, so he adds to that spot. Solid player. Saw him in the preseason a little bit. didn’t play much in the regular season with the New England Patriots, but a solid guy nonetheless. Here are the full trade details. Back to the trade as we get into talking about McCreary and sending him off to the Los Angeles Rams. You get a 2026 fifth round pick and you also have to send in a 2026 sixth round pick, which honestly I thought you could have got more for a guy like Roger McCreary. I mean, he’s playing the nickel corner and he’s been solid to say the least. 25 tackles. He’s been one of the bright spots of the Titans defense. We saw yesterday Jonathan Taylor rush for 80 yards. We saw Jonathan Taylor rush for another 30-yard touchdown. We saw him have three touchdowns total. One interception, one pass break up in a 66.5 PFF grade. Like, I’m not going to say he was perfect. He wasn’t perfect. Nobody on the Titans defense was perfect. Most of them were playing really bad. Legarius Sneeed just got placed on IR last week and you’re going to miss him for the next three games. but he was the best on the Titans. Now, if you want to talk about the future, it’s a solid move. You get a fifth round pick that you lost in another trade a couple uh during the off season, but you get that draft pick back, you send over a sixth round pick and you already had three of them. But right now, if we’re talking about this specific second, this is a terrible move because you’re already losing games in blowout fashion. Well, now you have no secondary whatsoever. You have Legarius Sneed. You have Daryl Baker Jr. which yeah, those are two solid guys. Like you’re going to see Daryl Baker Jr. get a lot more, but Legarius Sneed is on IR. Now you have Samuel as your nickel corner. And guess what people? He hasn’t played any type of minutes or any type of game action this season. The first time he actually got a snap-on defense was yesterday against the Indianapolis Colts. He got one. And you’re also talking about what you’re dealing with right now because you have multiple injuries to the secondary. So, who the hell is going to be playing in the secondary? Who’s going to be playing at quarterback? You could see right here from Ian Rapaort on October 23rd. Jarius was placed on injuring him out for four games with a quad injury. If you guys remember last year, he got a quad injury and missed the rest of the season in week seven. Little bit of deja vu. And then a game against yesterday against the Colts. Well, your other quarterback, Daryl Baker Jr. was being evaluated for a concussion and did not return to the game. So, you obviously have to think that he did have a concussion. So, you’re missing two of your top guys and now you have Sam Wac and a bunch of practice squad players and that’s about it. The secondary is nothing. Absolutely nothing. And now you go up against Justin Herbert next week and who knows he could throw for 300 yards and it’s just going to happen. The the Titans clearly say that uh well it’s over. We got to move on and look at the future. This is time to kind of start tanking at 1 and seven. I was going to make a video about the dumb decision that uh Mike McCoy made on not going for it on fourth and three, but the trade happened. So we’ll be talking about the trade. I think right now it’s a terrible decision because if you want to look at least somewhat competitive during a game, you need a secondary and you just got rid of Roger Mcgreer. I think that there are a lot of players and a lot of teams that are interested in these players for a possible trade with the trade deadline just about a week away, November 4th. And we’ve seen the Titans make some moves already. Most more than most teams, they traded away Jarvis Brownley Jr., which I will say, Jarvis Brownley Jr. is playing incredible for the New York Jets right now. just looks like a dumb dumb move by this organization. They released Tyler Lockett. He signed with the Las Vegas Raiders earlier today and now you have traded Roger McCreary. And you’ve also just been rumored to a lot of players being available on the trade block. There’s been specific players, three guys in general. You have Kevin Zitler, who’s the veteran offensive guard. You have Ardan Key, edge rusher. and bringing up Truman Jones, signing him to the active roster kind of makes you think that uh maybe he is going to get traded and also could be a possibility for Draymond Jones. Sebastian Joseph Day on the defensive line and with the emergence of Tamir DK for this Titans team who looks awesome the past couple of games. I think Van Jefferson will be also on the trade block and he could be a name that pops up on phone calls as we get closer to that deadline. The main objective for the Titans right now, just get as many picks as you can. Load up on the draft picks. Load up on as many players as you can because this team isn’t good. And you’re most likely going to be fighting for that first overall draft pick come January. There’s a game December 28th, you play the New Orleans Saints, and that team sucks. And the Titans suck, too. So, it might be the Tank Bowl for the number one overall pick after the Jets finally got their win against the Bengals. So, get as many picks as you can. Load up. Load up.
