Rough showing from Flagg. He’s got tough competition for ROTY and definitely has not looked like the best player from this class yet

  1. He will be a good or even great player eventually but he is nowhere near good enough right now to help this terribly constructed Mavs roster compete.

    Also D-Lo is a terrorist

  2. Are they still rolling him out at PG? I imagine that the Thunder were on him like white on rice.

  3. Still don’t understand why he’s at point. That decision was dumb as hell and I don’t see how any professional coach thinks that’s a good idea

  4. Mavs are setting Flagg up for failure by playing him at the point. Have Russell start as PG until Kyrie comes back

  5. I know it’s early and the Mavs will now make the playoffs because I’m saying this…but I saw quite a few talking heads and people online saying that this was a playoff team. That they were a pretty good team. I never understood it. I think their O/U was 40.5, which I also thought was too high. AD hasn’t even missed any games yet, and you know that’s coming. To me, this always seemed like a year strictly to develop Flagg. I don’t think they should have had expectations beyond that.

  6. Flagg and Bailey are having a rough start.

Then you have Edgecombe, Harper, Knuepel, Johnson doing really well

  7. Turns out playing out of position as a rookie in the NBA is hard! Who knew? Somebody tell Dallas!

  8. Also, D’Angelo “you’re going to be a problem” Russell – 3/14 FG / 1/8 3P for 9 points

  9. Make the 18 year old rookie PF a PG. coaching masterclass from Jason Kidd, Dallas is in good hands.

  10. Dallas thinks they can just put the ball in the hands of any #1 pick, make him play out of position as a PG and it’ll work.

Maybe they’ll realise Luka is a generational talent
