I think they You know how it is. I think they have one of the best defenses in the National Football League, a Dline with a lot of depth. You got Byron Murphy, you got uh Demarcus Lawrence, you got Leonard Williams, you got they keep coming in waves. And then you got one of the best receivers, if not the best receiver in the National Football League and Jackson Smith and Jigba. You got Sam Darner who the Minnesota Vikings are wishing they had right now. And I I just can’t see a world that this team isn’t getting better. They’re getting healthier in the background.   4. Seahawk lifer here, since 1976.
    OK, do I want the 'Hawks to hit the SuperBowl? Yes I do.
    But I'm a realist. I quit being a rah-rah fan long, long time ago and I like to think I see things as they really are down at the cleats level. To make a run in the playoffs the 'Hawks are gonna have to win the division. And no matter how banged up they might be right now, the Whiners and Rams are always tough, high-stakes games. Then we have the Commies and Colts. That's half of our remaining schedule.
    As for the team itself, we could use some help at the Tackle positions, both offense and defense. This is a solvable issue, but it bears mentioning here at our Bye week. We are also our own worst enemy as one of the most penalized teams in the No Fun. I'm not talking about Holding [everybody holds, all the time and it only matters if the zebras catch you], what I'm talking about is the 100% preventable crap: Face Masks, Unsportsmanlike, too many players on the field, crap like this. Look, I love me some JSN, but his celebration penalty would have looked pretty frikkin' stupid if the kicker has missed the extra point.
    None of this means I'm down on the team. I LOVED signing Darnold and he is a vast improvement over Geno Smith, much as I respect Smith. I LOVED drafting Gray Zabel. We finally got ourselves a great big fuck-all farm boy who isn't afraid to head butt cedar tree. The defense is greatly improved from last years as well.
    I don't honestly think we have the juice for it this year, but 85% of the building blocks are there for a run next year. And that sucks a bit, given the fairly soft schedule the Hawks have this year.

  9. Although this team does have teams like the 49ers and Rams in their division. I have a feeling they can challenge any team including Green Bay and Detroit, heck even Philly.

  10. Did that graphic really say Trent Williams is the best left tackle of all time? Someone in the control room needs to educate themselves on Walter Jones
