I’m just pleasantly surprised and kind of happy they’re 3-0 to start. Can that be a choice?
If these jerseys sell well and Reinsdorf makes money from them, then apparently AKME not such bad managers.
There are only 4 POBOs in the NBA currently who have held their positions as long or longer than AKME and have a worse winning percentage. They are Rafael Stone w/Rockets, clearly headed in the right direction. Jeff Weltman w/Magic, despite losing to the Bulls they should still be in the mix for a top 4 seed in the East. Brian Wright w/Spurs, clearly their team is trending towards a top team in the West and perennial MVP candidate. And lastly Sean Marks w/Nets, probably the only POBO in the ENTIRE NBA that has held their position as long as AKME and is somehow worse. In conclusion, based on tenure AKME is the 2nd worst front office currently employed in the NBA.
What some of yall seem to forget is that it’s Jerry’s fault. Every GM will perform poorly under him because all he wants to do is put butts in seats. Be just good enough that people come, but not so good they have to spend in the Luxury.
It’s the same thing with the Cubs. They don’t want to spend so they’ll continue to struggle to get over the hump
What’s the issue here? Hopefully he has a fire Ryan Poles Bears jersey too.
