Game Highlights: Red Wings 6, Blues 4

a checking team. He has checkers on every single line from top to bottom this evening. Opening faceoff won by St. Louis. They dump it in straight away to Fowler. Far circle. Snugaroo. Sudter is right there with him though. Snugaroo got it back. Goes to Sudter again to Snugarude. Not a fowler. Kyru walks in. Shoots. Score. Jordan Kyu came down to the top of the circle. Rips it glove side. One- nothing St. Louis. 1217 to go. Opening period. Thomas with a shot. They’re not wasting a lot of time getting pucks of the net. Here’s your Bob Marrio. Robocam. Here’s Jordan Kyu. Oh, baby. Oh, he looked for neighbors. That one deflected away. Snugaroo behind the net to Thomas. Near side folk center. They score. What a pass by Justin Faulk. Snugaroo was in front with Neighbors and it goes off Neighbors and in. We’ve seen it all game so far. Faulk looks to the back door. He’s got four bodies there and he goes far side. Holloway. Faulk and Holloway back and forth. Top of the circle. Deflection score. The bumper play works. It’s to the back of the net. It’s three nothing St. Louis. 59 seconds into the second period, we’re going to get a really good look. Watch Pavo Bush Davis right at the center. You’re going to see Dylan Hollow from the outside. He’s looking for a blade. He’s going to hit the blade right there. And that’s where the high tip. Parents raise their kids up when they get put on the video board. And there’s just this baby, which is great. But with the look as it comes to neighbors, they score. That’ll change the face of the baby as well. Other top guys are going. Starts in the breakout. Great support underneath for Robert Thomas. Good slash support for Jimmy Snuggroot. He runs out options. Chips it in. He’s got a deceptive stick where he’ll give you a lane and like the old Houdini, he’ll take it away. Wings pick it up at the point. Sandine Pelica to the corner. Back door. They score. They find the pass on the back door to Berin. Detroit gets the power play goal. It’s four to one. Here’s the entry for the Detroit Red Wings. The Blues have done such a good job on the kill. Watch the cross ice right here. Right through the blue paint. Look at him. He’s still on his feet. He’s trying to yell at a referee for a call. He got no call, but he’s fired up there on the bench. Now, you got to play the game with a little fire in your belly, don’t you? You do. Wings deflected in front and Finny is there to finish it. A broken play off the end boards. Detroit’s in it. It’s just bouncing everywhere like a rubber ball. Look at it. It’s just jumping everywhere. Yeah, you know, it’s almost impossible to get a hold of it. And it was off of Justin Faulk and then it was Finny on the one bounce. Again, sometimes that’s just puck rush. Wings get it to the front. Blues can’t clear it. Quick shot deflected and they scored. Jordan Bennington going right to the referee to talk that one over. Jordan Jordan Bennington thought something happened here. Here’s a shot. Watch JT Coner in front. It is a tip. Absolutely a tip from JT Confer. The the puck go over to the far wing. Cutting it into the middle. De Brink shoots and scores. Detroit’s tied the game up. Turnover inside the offensive blue line. It’s a fast team. They’re quick in transition. This is what you have to avoid. A turnover at the offensive blue line. An outside in move by Alex Debrink. And boy, he can shoot the puck. Get you an update when we get one. Kyu turns it over inside the blue line. Cop to the far wing. Pass coming back to Cop. Slides through to Comper on the near side. Looking up to the blue line, shoots and scores. Edmonson sneaks one in from the blue line. Detroit has taken the lead. It’s 5 to4. 912 to go in the third period. the defenseman for Detroit. Here’s the entry. It’s a kick out right after the Blues once again turn it over in the offensive zone at the blue line. It’s a kick back. It’s just a shot. Oh, it looks like it went off Chen. Yeah. Yes. Back to Holloway. Holloway to Fowler. They shoot. Oh, off the deflection. It goes wide. The puck gets cleared out towards the empty net. Detroit scores. Up like this where you have a four-goal lead and you surrender six in a row. Here’s Edmonson from his own end. He just spins and throws it. He’s thinking, I’ll take the ice. We can Six unanswered goals, counting an empty net by Detroit. And a Blues lose here at Little Caesar’s Arena by a score of six-4. [Music] [Applause]

  1. I was kinda hard on our 'C'aptain last game but, Hot Wings come down 2 vs our 4, NOT on get puck but shoot a lollipop from waay out at point, instead of Schenner knocking/blocking down puck, he flinches, puck deflects off his useless hip/arse over Binner's right side. Sure, it's early and also pathetic. Been a minute seeing us score 4 str8 then give up 6 str8.

  2. The Red Wings have the most rookies playing of any team too 😂😂 it's like 60% youngbloods. Worry not, you have another chance to smoke them at home next game
