Seattle Seahawks Just Got A Flurry Of Good News…

All right, the Seattle Seahawks get a flurry of good news as they get off the buy and start heading into the the second half of the season and just see what’s in store. If you’re new to the channel, we are Detroit Lions fans, but this channel’s fully dedicated to teams that just get overlooked by the national media just don’t get talked about enough. And so, you can see on our channel, we do five, six teams. Seattle’s one of them that we we we like. Um I know, you know, it’s like you can’t say that about an NFC team, but we we like we like the Seahawks. Okay, good news number one. Fan favorite fullback Robbie Outs is coming back and uh he hasn’t been out there since week three. Just nice to see guys coming back. That’s the thing about injuries. You just don’t want season enders. Give me a month off. That’s fine then. Boom. Coming back. Love it. That’s good news number one. Happy to see that one. Good news number two. Um let let me get to it right here. is the Seahawks finally have a pass rush. And so that the Seahawks are the only team to have four players where more with more than 20 QB pressures this season. And it’s something that I think gets overlooked is everybody wants that elite pass rusher gets talked about all the time. But the good news for the Seattle Seahawks is like, well, we actually got four guys. We actually have four guys. The Lions have Aiden Hutchinson. That’s great. you got that premier edge rusher. I think you, you know, we’d all sign up for that. But at the same time, man, it’d be just nice to have consistent pressure from both sides, guys. By the way, Cliff Averil, oh my gosh. Um, yeah. So, just just Cliff Ail, you know, he was with the Lions, he comes over, he just stars with you guys. Love that guy. Um, okay. here are your last four pass rushers that fueled um the pass rush and brought Seattle. It’s Lone Lombardi and and so the good news is like wait a second. You’re telling me the last time we won a Super Bowl we had four really good pass rushers and now we have four good pass rushers again. Um okay, I’m I’m in for that. Now we’ll get back to that in just a second. The other thing that I think is really good more news that comes out just kind of looking at the stats of Sam Darnold through the first seven weeks. Sam Darnold has put up a quality stat line actually very similar to where he was with the Minnesota Vikings last year. Minnesota Vikings went five and two through seven games. And then remember that second half of the season they went on an absolute tear. Won all of their games up until the last game when they played the Lions. So it’s just I mean now you you can’t help but think man Sam Darnold wins. See he’s a winner. guy’s lost like what five games in the last two years. Um total what what is he 20 and five? So great news if you’re a Seattle Seahawks fan is that you’ve got a winning quarterback who let’s just see what he does. He’s putting up real similar numbers that he was last year when he went on a really good run and was at the end of the season fighting for the number one overall seed in the NFC. Hopefully he does the same thing. Well, kind of. You know what I’m saying? I know this is so hard because I love I love what Seattle’s doing a little too much because it’s like oh crap Lions Seahawks maybe. Um so really just what you were looking for when Sam Darnold it’s like it’s finally it’s officially come true. Meaning I don’t know is Sam Darnold good? Is he not? And then you see the Vikings struggling. It’s like Sam Darnold had a lot to do with with the whole thing and just to have him on your team and doing what he’s doing is is absolutely huge. Now, let me know in the comments here. Um I I just I don’t ask this enough. I should I should ask this more, but Russell Wilson, where are you at now with him? Right? Because it’s kind of changing and evolving where he’s further separated from from the franchise. The reason I bring this up, he’s in the news. Um, again, just he had that little thing with Shawn Payeyton. He gets benched. He comes in for the Giants there and he kind of messes up. So, I just because from an outsiders’s perspective, guys, super weird. Um, but but if I’m a Seattle Seahawks fan, I got a little soft spot in my heart for him because it’s like, man, some good times. We had some good times together and I really appreciate you, but at the same time, we that was a that was a little long time ago now, you know, that was a few years now. And I I’m not sure as I watch you just kind of act the way that you do. It’s easy for me to just, okay, okay, there’s enough time has passed where I’m gonna let you go. Just like the Lions with Matt Stafford, it’s like, man, he gets traded. It’s like, man, come on, dude. I rooting for you. Go to the Rams. Unbelievable. This is great. Go win a Super Bowl. This is awesome. Like the second he wins it, it’s like, all right, man. You got your Super Bowl. Get away from me. Can’t stand you anymore. It was so weird. There was this, all right, you’re out of here. It’s it’s ride or die with golf and um yeah, it’s just funny how it how it always how it just flipped a switch. So maybe that’s how you are with with Russell Wilson. So let me know in the comments. Okay, now big game for the Seattle Seahawks as they go to Washington. Seattle is better than Washington right now, this season, right now at this present moment. That’s great. But the problem is Sunday Night Football, Washington’s season is on the line. So, you can’t fake desperation. Everyone wants to win. Everyone, you know, like if you’re Seattle, it’s like this would be a really big win, but you’re you’re honestly not desperate for the win. Washington is this is their season on the line. So, to go cross country Sunday night football, this was this is a tough one. Um, however, if I’m a Seattle Seahawks fan, I’m thinking to myself, okay, but this is if we’re good, if we think if we’re as good as we think we are, or if we’re as good as we want to be, all these things, then this is a game that you go and you go and find a way to win. But on the road, Sunday Night Football is going to be tough. So, let me know your thoughts in the comments on that. I’m still not sure the final score like how that really ends up because I I do really think you’ve got a better straight up better Seattle Seahawks team. And I mean that’s count for something, right? And and the Washington Commanders don’t have their starting quarterback. So, um just a weird team is Washington. Uh just I think even weirder for Lions fans because of what they were able to do come into Ford Field and win just I mean oh my gosh just randomly one day one you know nothing taking nothing away from them. It was just like one day they came in and won and Lions were done. It’s like oh my gosh they’re they’re really good or are they good? They didn’t, you know, and again, you feel like you’re slighting them when you say that, man, shouldn’t ever have won that game and you are, but I don’t know. They’re they’re kind of a weird team. So, I say all that to say, this is the type of victory that’s like, all right, if you if you are who you say you are and want to be, then got to go got to go get this one. I I think Seattle can win this, which is just awesome. So coming off a buy rested it’s just a perfect time to say okay bye-week and now we go and so not rooting for them but kind of am in the NFC West because of the other teams in the west. I know I’d like to see Seattle win that division. Seattle. I’m telling you, ever since Russ left, it was like, “Oh my gosh, Seattle’s Seattle’s cool, man.” And you weren’t kicking our butts like kicking Kelvin Johnson’s butt. That kind of helped, too.   3. Despite his weird behavior, Wilson should be in the ring of honor. He led us to one Super Bowl win and a second Super Bowl game. It's a shame his career has turned out the way it has.

  5. Russell Wilson had an arrogence problem, but thats not unusual with NFL stars. The difference is he's corny so it stands out more.

    That said, his time in Seattle he was absolitely elite for a very long time. We traded him off just in time to avoid his decline (which characteristically for a dual threat QB was steep). But its silly to overlook how great he was just b. He isnt that anymore

    He is legit a hall if fame caliber player, but bc if the narrative surrounding him, he won't get it. Its really unfortunate

  12. Bro, no need to mince words… Russell Wilson has always been super cringe, there were maybe only a couple of years when he was somewhat humble. Other than that, he's always been big on himself and talked about being a team player, but never executed the sentiment. 😂

  15. Bro I'm solidly in the camp of "Russ had to go" when I heard he had been traded. He just wanted too much money or started to imagine himself a quarterback that was worth that much money. That all said – I know Russ can ball out… He's fully capable of putting the team on his back in the 4th quarter. SEVERAL games in our superbowl year were won by Russ doing just that. I don't know what happened in Denver, but I know that if he swallows his pride a bit, he could still land in an organization that is willing to set him up for success – see Joe Flacco.

    That was a really wild thing about the seahawk's team when Russ came up – Pete knew how to get the most out of a young team on defense and could get away with placing some boundaries on the QB because he was still young.

    As for Wilson. Screw that guy. He caused problems in the locker room and took shots at the city on his way out.

  21. I am thankful for the dedication and time Wilson played with us. That being said, those of us going to games saw him escaping pressure less and less often. It was always known his play would tank when he lost that half-step. It was time for him to go. Every dog has it's day, but Wilson's day had passed. I have been a fan scince 1976, I cried inside when they made Dave Krieg the starter. I stopped being a fan of the players (except Largent, Baldwin, Kennedy, Lynch and Legion, of course) and started being a fan of the team. Same with DK, I am thankful for the time he played with passion for us. But with no improvement on route running in 6 years, it was time for him to go. I wish all the Seahawks former players the best of wishes, their dedication to their craft with Seattle should never be discounted. NFL is truly Not For Long.

  24. Much respect if I have another team besides the hawks its the lions, as far as russ he changed he's not the same russ , imo he went Hollywood after he got married he just wasn't authentic

  31. I had no real animosity towards Russell. I didn't like some of the stuff that I had heard like he was trying to get Coach Carol and Snyder fired so he could pass the ball more, but that didn't really work out when they let him do it. I think his head was a little too big for his uniform

    But what really got me was that he took some jabs at Seattle but absolutely didn't have coming. They didn't run him out of town. He wanted to leave and they let him go. It's his choice but then to say things like it's great to be somewhere where they actually want to win. You know that was just weird stuff. He's always been a bit weird. It's always been a bit hard to buy into his gohawks routine, but then to try and come up with another line for Denver because the gohawks thing worked out so well in Seattle. All of that he just looks so fake. But I booed him when he came back. Simply because of what he had to say about the city when he left. He burned too many bridges man so he's got it coming

  33. Yeah … it will get to a Lions & Seahawks face off, because of how well the head coaches lead those teams. The players (Seahawks & Lions) have ownership and WANT to play and WIN for their organizations. True statement / team analysis on the upcoming Seahawks / Commanders game. Adding to that drama, Coach Macdonald was offered the Commanders Head Coaching job in direct competition with the Seahawks ownership / management about 1 1/2 years back. The Seahawks lucked out.
