He also was one of the highest graded Eagles in that game apparently.

  1. I cant believe how reactionary people are with him. He’s not gonna be a probowler, but he needs time on the field to improve. The same flexibility yall give to Mukuba is the same that Ringo needs. He has seen the field less than him and is still mad young. His upside could be really awesome

  2. Weird how much we turned around this week. It’s starting to feel like last year after the bye week.

  3. Solid play.

Anecdotally from watching him it looks like he tried to jump his receiver’s route/make big plays in coverage and gets exploited when he misses. Sunday’s game he just played proper coverage, and that’s what we need from a guy covering WR2s

  4. I no longer check Google or Yelp for a business’s operating hours. I just look for Kelee Ringo.

    If he’s nearby, I know they’re open.

  5. Someone posted the pff grades and I think he was the highest graded defender.

Honestly, he needs to work on tackling. Like it’s on thing to not be a complete shut down corner, but you have to be able to tackle. Like Q is a better cover guy than coop. But cooper is probably the best tackling corner in the league right now.

  6. When we get a decent pass rush the secondary doesn’t have to do as much and with time he will improve.
He reminds me of Jalen Mills. Everyone hated this guy at first but he stuck with it, worked hard and got better, then he dyed his hair green and everyone loved him.

  7. Didnt hear his name all day. Pff backed that up with a good grade.

It is worth noting that Q was on Robinson most of the day. And I couldn’t even tell you who their other WRs are. I guess Hyatt. But he can only guard who he’s asked to guard so it’s at least something he can hopefully build on.

  8. I forget where I read it, but apparently him cutting his dreads has made it easier to turn his head to see the ball

  9. Combination of different things: the Giants’ receivers minus Nabers aren’t scaring anyone, the D line got good pressure, Vic called a lot more zone than man which makes it more difficult for a rookie QB to pick on one player, and Ringo played within his role. Looked like his coverage was pretty solid but I’ll probably always be worried about his tackling.

  10. He had multiple blown coverages. He is still mid but I still have faith that he can put it together.

  11. I was thinking the same thing. I’ve spent large parts of the last few weeks grumbling about him. Some time in the 3rd quarter, my wife asked, “Where’s that Ringo guy you always complain about?” and I realized I hadn’t seen him all day. I just assumed he wasn’t getting much playing time. I was shocked on Monday to see how many snaps he got and how well he did.

  12. I mean, I can’t name a receiver not Nabers or Slayton on the Giants. Dude was getting cooked by civilians the first game so this isnt saying much.

  13. Glad he improved from last time but let’s put this in context, he was playing against scrubs

  14. The pass rush was just much better this week. Even when Dart was able to buy time it was still harder to keep his eyes down field. Ringo didn’t magically turn it around and still needs replacing IMO.

  15. He got called out early on by the broadcast, but after that it was pretty quiet. I do think he played better, but the d-line played a lot better, and the better they play, the easier the secondary has it.

  16. He played solid but it’s also worth noting that the Giants have no good receivers, although that was also true when we lost to them. After the bye he will have to cover better receivers, hoping his improvement continues.

  17. They also highlighted how Fangio swapped the scheme from man/blitz heavy to zone heavy to throw Dart off and limit his running.

And by all accounts it worked. Our boys were getting torched in man.

  18. He was the highest ranking defender per PFF against the giants. Giants really only made plays on scramble drills and Ringo seems to hold up on 1st window opportunities.

Ultimately, we’re getting healthier and Vic needs to decide who is CB2, so they get the reps. I go ringo based on size alone.

  19. He held up well but it was also against a giants team that’s best receiver is Wandale Robinson tbf. I’d still rather see what Bennett has against that packers

  20. I think they played more zone than man this week, probably helped a lot more than anything else

  21. Last year I went to the Kelly Green game against the jaguars and we one the Super Bowl. This year got free tickets to the giants game on Kelly Green Day, in almost the same exact section, so that must only mean one thing……

  22. No, there was ALOT of zone. And he had help. Vic was exotic and disguised alot of schemes. Dart did well against it and didn’t make mistakes

  23. lol yall wanna talk about Kelee going against bottom of the roster WRs when DeVonta and Dotson were going against PS players lol
