Miami Dolphins Made A MAJOR Change Against The Falcons That Worked! #shorts #nfl #miamidolphins

Frank Smith may have just changed everything for the Miami Dolphins. The offensive coordinator who does not call plays went from the booth to the sideline for the first time this season. And what happened? The Dolphins offense was clicking on all cylinders. Tua Tongavaloa, Mike McDaniel, and Devon Achan were all speaking very positively of the change from Smith from the booth to the sideline after the game. The how about the play call distribution? Not that Smith calls the plays, but maybe he has a hand in that. 37 designed runs to 29 drop backs. Miami ran for 141 yards. Tua was efficient, 138.6 QB rating and threw for four touchdowns and only had six incompletions. Maybe, just maybe, Frank Smith behind the sideline can help unlock a more efficient and wellbalanced Dolphins offensive attack.

  1. I don’t understand how people cannot see how having a coach on the sideline instead of in the booth and significantly help the team. Having a coach on the sideline they can all interact with each other which makes a huge different than sitting in a booth. Does this solve all of the problem of course not but human interaction can go along way. It’s certainly not an excuse for poor performance on a players part but if it helps them to boost morale and do better than let’s do stuff this way

  2. The biggest change was Max protection. They brought in an extra lineman (Brunskill) on nearly every play. If that's what they have to do to win, I say go for it. Why didn't we do this earlier? We know our O-line sucks and Tua needs more time. It worked very well. Let's do the same thing in Spain.

  3. Or maybe Tua is just inconsistent as he’s been his entire career. His best season was 29 yds to 19 turnovers with a first round playoff exit after choking away the division. Thats his CEILING. I can go out there and Birdie a par 5 once in a while but the GREAT golfers birdie that hole 90% of the time. This team has no direction. They have no plan and they’ll suffer for another year because of it. They’ll finish with 7 or 8 wins and be 1 or 2 games from a playoff spot (like last year) and they’ll run it back only for the exact same result. Tua is NOT that dude. Take 20 mil per year off his salary and maybe you can get by with him. He’s not gonna have a 3-4 game run in the playoffs when it’s cold to ever get them where they need to go. Tua is now the 3rd best QB in his own division let alone the conference.

  4. Its not rocket science. Run the ball. Its that simply. More and more Gordon. Everyone can see it except McDaniels. Quit depending on Tua so much. You have some of the best running backs in the game. Come on Stevie Wonder can see its the answer.

  5. Did that man behind the curtain in one of those first movies in color give the thinkheads in this organization a brain? Delegating some responsibility to an o.c. definitely is making a positive difference.

  6. What exactly did he do on the sidelines if he’s not calling the plays. I mean there are position coaches that should be working with the individual position players so what did he do that made such a difference?

  7. Maybe just maybe the league will schedule the Fallcons for us every week. Also maybe just maybe.. we will win a few games and scrape close to being in playoff position just to be disappointed again
