J.J. Peterka Fitting In With Utah #shorts
Um, obviously I got to ask about one guy who probably hasn’t gotten the shine yet just because everyone else is is playing so well, but this JJ Purka trade, how well he’s fit in so far to this team because it could be another case of, you know, a Buffalo Saber leaves and finds a new home and and fits right in. But, you know, what do fans in the NHL need to know about JJ Purka and his transition right now to Utah? He’s been absolutely terrific and he’s a guy that that I’m finding out uh is is somebody that can get his shot away through traffic too, right? He’s he’s got the blazing speed, but that line um we had a we had an analytics number on that line. They were listed as the second fastest line behind the McKinnon Nas line in Colorado. Andre Turn is not afraid to throw them out against top matchups, right? So, they were out there against the Shyley line in Winnipeg pretty much the entire game the other night and and I would imagine that they they could get the McDavid line tonight, too. So, it’s funny. You got to if you want something good, you got to give up something good, right? and and I think Michael Kessering and Josh Don are definitely going to help the the Buffalo Sabres, but they needed that other guy that could score 2530 goals and and I think that’s why they made the
