Josh Minott Highlights vs New Orleans Pelicans (15 pts, 9 reb) | 2025-26 NBA Season

No Zion tonight, but Eve Mei is back for New Orleans and he loses the jump to Kada. May not flying in. What a start. 5 seconds in. I’ll take it. Any energy buckets we can get. That’s what this team has to do. Everything has to be a battle and everything has to have the edge of more energy than your opponent. Back to Nimi out top. White got the whistle. That is hustle right there. The Celtics giving the Pelicans a little taste on the offensive glass. Popping up another big first quarter lead. The Pelicans have cut this to two. Brown with a good pump. May not the catch and the scoop. And that is not easy, especially on that baseline. I love Minot playing out of the corners exhorting his team to run. Murphy blocked by Minot. Great play from Josh. He’s ahead of the pack. machine. Scored 10 points in a row for the Celtics early fourth quarter yesterday in Detroit. Almost batted that in. He had his hand on it. Got the offensive rebound. Finds Brown. Swing it to the corner. May not for three. That is a great play by Kada. Second effort on the glass. Kicks it out and then Jaylen Brown making that extra pass. Good Celtic basketball. And New Orleans wants a timeout as looking two for three from beyond the arc tonight. leads back to nine. Steal by May not in the open floor. Why not? Oh no. Bounces right back up. The lawn mower, baby. And now he’s picking up full court by the machine. That’s the lawn mower. Uh getting a flat tire. Still keeps going. You’re going to be in pick and roll. You got to be able to play out of the short roll. Feel like Kate is growing right before our eyes. P with the turnover. Pritchard the takeaway. finds the cutting. May not double clutch jam for Josh May not look at that aggressive gets it back over to May not with a double pump for the Celtics. Final minutes. Xavier Tilman also out there. Good ball movement. May not the attack and the scoop again. This is a 30point lead.

Statline: 15 pts (6-9 FG, 1-3 3PT, 2-2 FT), 9 reb in 28 minutes

  1. Minot looked great, give him more minutes. Boucher looked tired and weak, while Garza was servicable, setting screens and getting some rebounds and 3's. I hope Boucher can bulk up more and get in better shape. Al Queta looked good, setting hard screens, blocking shots and getting his hands on rebounds.

  2. 4 games in and we already found our back up pf for next year. Assuming we keep Simons, next year would be looking like Simons, white, brown, Tatum and Queta as the starters with Pritchard, Hugo, Hauser, minott and whoever we get in the lottery coming off the bench

  3. Big athletic forward who plays hard. I like it.
Team needs more big forwards. Tatum made it easy to get away with less front court size, but without him they really need to up their size and athleticism up front.

  4. This guy and Hugo and Hauser (when he gets his shot back) and Boucher are gonna be a really good forward rotation. All together they're pretty cheap and each guy does different things well so they can mix and match them with teams.
