🔥5 Players BALLIN’ OUT For The Chicago Bulls 🔥

[Music] Yo, what’s going on everybody? You are watching the Bulls Report by Chad Sports. My name is Patrick Seatman and after the shocking 3 and 0 start for our Chicago Bulls, I want to dive into five players who have really impressed me so far this season. Let me start off by asking you guys this. I can’t believe I’m asking you this in the first place, but what’s the you on this one? Will the Chicago Bulls end up making the playoffs? We’re not talking playing. We’re talking playoffs to start today’s show. So, go down in the comments section, give me a Y for yes, give me an N for no if you guys think the Chicago Bulls will be in the playoffs. All right, so number one, uh, in terms of guys that are absolutely hooping and playing some good ball for this basketball team to start the season, and number one’s going to be Trey Jones here. Trey Jones has been absolutely fantastic and, you know, averaging 13 points a game. He’s obviously an elite playmaker. He’s an elite just ball handler and beating guys off the dribble. He gets the defense and rotation at a super super high level. He’s been obviously knocking down the three-point shot at a high clip so far this season, shooting 57.1% but averaging 8.3 assists per game. He was also averaging four um steals a game at a point um before last night. And honestly, I think Trey Jones in terms of just underrated winning basketball players across the whole NBA, like he might be at the top of that list because he can beat guys off the dribble at the high level. You literally can’t keep this guy in front and he’s always making the right reads. Whether that’s a kick out to the corner, drop off the voo, or if he just keeps his momentum going, then he can find somebody else open or he can still get to that little floater. He’s actually got some good moves around the rim. He’s got a good pullup uh mid-range game. And it just seems like he is making the right play every single time right now. And that’s a big reason why he’s playing 30 minutes a game. And that’s a big reason why the Bulls gave him that contract extension this off seasonason. I couldn’t be more impressed with this guy. You know, as much as I ridicule this Bulls front office, getting Trey Jones back in that Zack Lavine deal where I think Zack Lavine is a complete opposite of a winning basketball player, I thought that was an absolute steal. Plus, you’re able to get your uh protections off that one Portland Trailblazers pick. So, I think overall, hell of a move by the Bulls. And Trey Jones has been absolutely balling out. But number two here, we’re going to go IO Dumu with the Chicago kid who had an absolute masterclass last night. Um, you know, the Trey Young um IO Dumo back and forth was absolutely awesome. Obviously, we know IO normally gets the better of Trey Young over the last couple years and he had a 21 point outing last night against the Atlanta Hawks. And this guy has just been, you know, absolutely fantastic. Uh 14 and a half points per game, averaging two assists a night, three rebounds, and then he has been ridiculous from beyond the arc this season, shooting four and a half threes a game, and then also shooting the ball at 55.6%. And I love the combination of Trey Jones and AO Dumo. Like when those guys are out there, like I think it’s one of the most elite, you know, back courts you can have coming off the bench. Obviously, Trey Jones has been starting, but when they are running with the second unit, like that combination those two have is deadly because Trey Jones being that primary ball handler who can also play off ball at a high level and then Io being one of the best transition players in the NBA, like he has been fantastic. And it’s always funny when you go back and this is Io’s sixth year in the NBA. It’s like one year he’s shooting 40% from three. Next year he’s shooting 30, then it’s back up to 40, then it’s back down to 30. And now this year, I mean, he is shooting the three-point ball at an extremely extremely high clip. Now, will he be able to maintain that? Probably not. I mean, if he does, he’s going to have one of the best three-point shooting seasons in NBA history, but he’s elite from the corner. He’s elite also at just using that one quick first step. Like, he’s not a big bag guy where he’s just kind of simplifying his moves, one dribble riproughs, just playing within his own self. very self-aware basketball player as well. So the back court for the Bulls, Trey Jones, I sumo, they’ve been fantastic. Then also another guy in the back court starting point guard. Um, and I’ll say this right now, best player on the Bulls. Um, Josh Giddy. Now, I was pretty critical of this Josh Giddy extension this off seasonason, but he has been absolutely fantastic. I mean, his numbers are great. you know, averaging almost 20 points a game, 6.3 assists, 8.7 boards a night, shooting the ball, extremely effective so far this season, 41.7% from the field, and he’s also been pretty efficient from the field as well. Um, but just generating open shots for his teammates, always making the right read. Like, he’s pretty much just like a juiced up version of Trey Jones. And, you know, I’ll admit I was probably completely wrong about this contract. Three for 75 for Josh Giddy. If he’s putting up those numbers, it’s an absolute steal. and he’s living up to the contract he signed this offseason. So, I will give credit to him. Um, he’s also still very young. I mean, 23 years old, he is still so much room to grow yet in the NBA. It’s just going to come down to Giddy. Can he get more of a, you know, kind of just more of a bag to his game? Like, can he start breaking guys down more of a high level? Now, he can already beat guys off the dribble at a high level, but getting to that pull up mid-range, that’s going to be his next step. And you know honestly like the way the Bulls are kind of constructed right now they feel like a poor man’s Indiana Pacers from last season where obviously I don’t think Josh Giddy’s on the level of Tyresese Hallebertton but having that tall playmaking guard who likes to push it in transition then you have just a loaded bench where you can just cycle guys in and out and maintain that pace throughout the whole game. Like that’s probably the biggest reason why the Bulls are three and 0 right now is because of Josh Giddy and that bench unit playing some great hoops for Chicago. But you guys let me know. Was I wrong about Josh Giddy? I’m assuming I’ll get a whole lot of yeses down below in the comments section here, but you guys want to know your thoughts. Was Patrick wrong about Josh Giddy? All right, let’s talk about the franchise here. Modest Boozo. This guy’s been absolutely absolutely unbelievable. That reverse dunk he had last night against the Atlanta Hawks was absolutely unreal. He was tiptoeing the baseline, got to underneath the rim and just rose up and threw it down. Now, obviously with Bazel three-point shot hasn’t been going um in so far this season, but I still think that’s going to turn around. He’s not going to shoot 16% from downtown for the entire season. But what I like out of uh out of Balis is, you know, one defensively he has been absolutely fantastic. But, you know, him putting pressure on the rim, like that is the number one thing with Boozy is like, you know, we talk about Trey Jones and Josh Giddy and IO not having like this, you know, insane bag where they very, you know, have a simplified game. Buzzel is opposite. Like, he can pull out so many moves. His handle at 6’10 is ridiculous. And seeing those flashes with him, like I was saying like, you know, probably best case scenario, he is a great number two option on championship team. I think he’s got the potential to be a number one option. six foot 10, can handle the ball, can shoot at a high level. He’s also got that want and that, you know, grit to be a high level high level all MBAS defender and he is really right now with this Bulls team like I feel like he’s the glue. Like he’s the thing that is that connecting piece defensively, offensively, great in transition, and I couldn’t be happier with that pick of Modis Buzzel. Still can’t believe he fell to pick number 11 in a terrible draft class. So, shout out to Bulls front office for getting that one right. And even though this pains me to say it, big fella, Nicole Vuchich, um the guy’s been pretty dang good. Um I will say like he had nine assists last night. I like him being a playmaker coming off those pick and rolls where, you know, two guards or two defenders will go to the ball handle, they drop it off the vouch, and he’s playing four on three downhill. Now, obviously, he has been way better defensively this season, but I still think, you know, overall, he’s a net negative on that side of the four, but at least he’s showing some fight. He’s showing some want to play better defense. Now, the difference between like Vu being a huge positive out there on the basketball court compared to a negative is if he’s hitting this three ball. Now, obviously, he’s been hitting it so far this season. Last night, he was one for four. Still, you know, somewhat of a positive out there, but I still think the Bulls at the end of the day will end up um trading Nicole Vuch. So, I’ll say this to Vuch, keep up in that trade value because if you could somehow, you know, play some good basketball up until the deadline and the Bulls get a first round pick for him. I mean, I will say Nicovich, you did your job here in Chicago. Um, but he’s playing some good hoops and, you know, overall, you know, I don’t think this Bulls team is, you know, going to go on a run whatsoever this season. Um, but at least they’re playing an entertaining brand of basketball and it’s at least like you see their vision even though they’re still a rebuilding young team. Like, you see what they’re trying to accomplish. have a deep bench, get a playmaker in Josh Giddy and Trey Jones who can get these young athletic wings the ball in transition. Even a guy like Patrick Williams had a great game yesterday. Um so overall very very happy with the start of the season. But I ask you guys this will the Bulls end up trading Nicole Vuch this season.
