  1. This isn’t reactionary. It’s not hyperbolic.

The Jets OL are one of the best run blocking units in the sport. They were around 6th in successful play rate after week 6 and it’s only gone up since then.

Once the QB is in place, this offense could cook

  2. I always appreciate this guy’s optimism.

I will say the run game has definitely shown some flashes this year.

  3. The Oline last year was trash I blame the coaching. This year looks much better, however this was the bengals d which is the 2nd worst in the league

  4. The oline has serious potential especially if AVT comes back. I’m not sold Olu is anything at this point but it’s safe to say Keith Carter was the problem which is a surprise to no one.

Tough to really evaluate Engstrand’s play calling when he’s given a QB like Fields. He really needs like 5 seconds in the pocket to find someone.

  5. Agreed but after 2 weeks going to Cleveland should be a test

If fashanu can perform in pass pro this is an amazing elite line

  6. Uh..the run blocking is atrocious. This was one game, against a team missing their best defender.

  7. Read a stat somewhere that the Jets leads the league with 31 rushes of 10+ yards. Obviously having a running QB helps, but the eye test tells you that the line has been opening huge holes for Breece as well especially up the middle. Tippmann and Membou on the right side have been dominant in the run game.
