Of course it's too early to tell if this heat roster is genuinely upgraded, but it's really promising, especially after destroying the grizzlies/Hornets and a solid NYK win.

  • JJJ is looking healthy, EXPLOSIVE, and fully out of his sophomore slump. His injury last year may have been more chronic than we gave him credit
  • Norman Powell for Klove was an objective steal. The way he impacts pace and can score in transition is something we've been lacking; we'll all going to miss the KLove memes though.
  • Larsson and Jovic continue to get the best of heat culture development.
  • Aeas of improvement with Davion on 3 and D + Ware finding his place alongside Bam, but I believe in them to have solid turnarounds soon.
  • Tyler will be back to create even more O to close out games. Closing games will continue be rough for us unless Bam simply gets better. Tyler probably isn't enough for a deep run unless he has an even more impressive all star season.
  • SF is making it look like a phenomenal idea to not extend Duncan.
  • All of the above while having Heat defense?

I'm hype. 🔥

What do you think?

  1. I like that we found a way to overcome our late game struggles by just beating the shit out of everyone.

  2. Wiggins is so overlooked lol. Gotta shout out Davion as well, I didn’t expect him to playmake the level he does, and he’s stillvery good defensively.

  3. It sucks that I always work when they’re playing. Only caught the tail end when they lost to little brother up there. But I’m glad they bounced back and are thriving right now!!

  4. I haven’t enjoyed watching the Heat in a few years. I just picked up League Pass and will try to watch most games going forward, at least on replay. Good basketball is so enjoyable to watch.

  5. I don’t think it’s the roster per se, just the new offense. Guys are having an easier time against less set defense, and strong drivers (like JJJ) are benefitting from it
