  1. Happy for Wallace, a solid LB is the next draft to complement him would be a huge fix for us

  2. I wouldn’t mind going LB for our 1st round pick next year. Rozeboom was brought in for depth and he clearly cannot keep up in coverage. Hes been “passable” against the run and that’s only as of late.

I think Wallace is a good piece though. Not necessarily a game changer but not all 11 guys on a defense will be.

  3. Wallace has impressed me, and Rozeboom has had a few nice plays.

Altogether not nearly as rough as I expected the LB room to look after the first few games

  4. I’m amazed Dan didn’t focus more on improving our linebacking corps this past offseason.

  5. Wallace was never as bad as people on here and Twitter were making him out to be.

The issue with Wallace last season? He was a raw rookie thrust into a starting role because of injuries.

Like we knew when we drafted him that he was a super athletic LB with tons of traits but was very raw and would take some time to develop.

Yet everyone wanted him gone after his rookie season. We as a fanbase have had a big problem lately with not giving rookies any grace or any time or room to grow.
