[Rick Dhaliwal] Hearing Conor Garland is not serious but also hearing he is not going on the road trip.

  1. Missing even one game is serious, Dhali! Do you have any idea what’s happening here!?

  2. So not available for the next three games then.

Hopefully it’s not another day to day injury that rolls into month to month like they seem to do

  3. I for one thought being lightest team in the league would be a competitive advantage.

  4. We are going streaking but not the winning kind

  5. Call up Kravtsov

    Trade for Yegor Chinakhov

Get skill in the door and start a prayer circle. Bottom 6 is fine, give Petey someone that can think with him. Reichel was a start.

  6. Oh yikes.

But if we must have a silver lining, this does give the opportunity to Sherwood that Drance (for one) has been suggesting: that before you really know whether to resign him, you should play him high up the lineup. Maybe he is the new Burrows.

You can sort of see it. Has speed, gets in on the forecheck, churns up the puck, Petey gets it, Sherwood is in flight as a moving target for the one-timer, the other forward on the line goes to the front of the net to screen for Petey’s shot.

  7. If the team doesn’t perform well, I can’t fault the coaching and management. There’s only so much the team can do with so many key players out.

  8. Hughes also won’t be on the trip but *might* join the team in either Minnesota or Nashville.

  9. What if we all just skip the road trip. Everyone stay home and nurse your injuries. We don’t… we don’t need to go anywhere. 🥲
