For Bengals’ season ticket holders, the cost of faith has become too high | Letter

  1. I wish I had season tickets, just to cancel. Nothing will change until their pockets take a hit.

  2. This is my last season as a season ticket holder- the cost of my seats literally tripled for next year (no lie).

The organization wants me to pay 3x more for my seats but doesn’t want to make the necessary changes to make the team successful so I’ll gladly watch the team from my couch.

  3. When you can get great seats for cheap the day of the game it doesn’t really make sense to own season tickets.

  4. I honestly enjoyed my seats. There just comes a time when the product doesn’t match the increased price

  5. The costs increasing that much is insane! While taxpayers fund your stadium. Fuck the brown family.

  6. “Pay Joe! Pay Ja’Marr! Pay Tee! Pay Trey! Pay for more perks for the players! Renovate the stadium!Pay more guaranteed money!”

    “My ticket prices went up!?!?”

Not trying to pick sides in the “cheap owners” fight, but if anyone expected anything else after all the money spent in the last couple of years, you are delusional.

(Edit: So, the team with the reputation for being the cheapest of cheapskates raised prices after spending a bunch of money… and folks are surprised? That’s just crazy talk if you didn’t expect it to happen, regardless of the teams performance. You all know good and well that they don’t care about wins and loses, and only care about the bottom line. Why would anyone even dream that they wouldn’t raise prices?)

  7. Not for long. NFL. Your sold out stadiums are not for long with bad recruiting. Get scouts and draft better.

  8. Gave my season tix up 10+ years ago. Nothing really changes with this franchise . All of the common denominators of the Lewis and Taylor eras are a detriment to the franchise ( owners/front office). Any winning is done in spite of them, they are among the worst owners in all of sports.

  9. That’s okay because the bungo knows there will be another fan to take your seat and all they have to do to get you back is just get a draft pick right and you’ll be convinced that they’ve finally changed.

  10. When the organization has a generational qb and somehow every year screws up the draft to try and build around him it’s time to change the people that make those decisions and invest better resources in scouting. Unfortunately they’re not going to be willing to do that Duke Tobin basically is part of the Brown family. The product on the field has been underachieving the last 3 years and it’s been downright bad this year.
