Dylan’s dad’s reply to Perkins saying “The GOAT conversation is going to go like this: MJ, Bron, and Wemby.”

  1. “Dylan’s dad” lmao

I love how we refer to this man as if he isn’t Ron fucking Harper.

Not trying to clown on you OP, I just found it funny.

  2. I agree with Ron. But just watching Wemby get better and better – clearly turning into something we have never seen before. It’s exciting.

  3. Ron already sees the writing on the wall. The media loves to build athletes/celebrities up then take them down when the athlete/celebrity doesn’t live up to the standards they have manufactured.

  4. Its a good take but i have no idea if its coming from actual concern or just him not liking the comparison.

  5. Leave this man alone. This is a perfectly normal tweet. Are you aware he played with the GOAT? This fanbase has been acting weird about everything he says.

  6. I can care less about GOAT conversation while Spurs play the most enjoyable (I mean boring) basketball in the world.

  7. Perk isn’t saying anything that hasn’t already been said over the last 4 years.

    Ron is also right.

(I also think there’s very little injury-wise thats gonna keep him of that stratosphere. He could get there with Gobert’s speed and quickness)

  8. I’m sure Wemby only wants to put up banners and cares less about his goat status. He was born a Spur. And with that mindset, it’s gonna be fun to watch him collect all sorts of team and individual trophies along the way.

  9. I’m not on twitter, but hopefully this is a sign that since the draft, Dylan and/or the Spurs, have had a chat to Ron to encourage himself to be a bit more “chill” with his comments as well.

  10. What he’s thinking: give it a few years because this will be Dylan’s team as much as Wemby’s. Can’t blame a dad…
