  1. can't stand the gather step new interpretation of the rules.. go look at old MJ clips.. it's the fundamental two steps after you stop the dribble…

  2. I mean that was pretty clearly just a stutter step during the dribble/gather and then two steps. You’d think if you have an account for basketball you’d know the rules.

  3. NBA should fine the officiating crew for allowing players to get away with that. I see they are calling 3 seconds and carrying a little but know way 3 referees should miss that. Ridiculous

  4. It is legal as per the rulebook. Not saying I think it should be, but it is. His dribble didn't "end in realtime" until the 4th to last "step". The 3rd to last would then be the gather, making the last 2 legal. @mdwbasketball broke it down.
