  10. I miss this hockey. Man he wasn’t even in frame and all I had to do was look to where he was coming. Live you knew that hit was coming. Choo choo

  12. My favorite part of this play was that the only penalized player from the ensuing scrum was Kesler.

  13. Notice how no one on that bench looks like they’re letting him know a train is approaching. That says much.

  16. He’s already quite hated here in Vancouver for the way he acted while playing here, and after leaving. I absolutely loathed him basically from the moment he signed the Philly offer-sheet (which is kinda funny given that Sergei Fedorov is my favourite player of all-time, and that didn’t change even after he signed the Carolina offer-sheet or when he left the Wings).

    Still, the news that came out is…shocking, to say the least.

    The Canucks intro video for games this season includes a bunch of past highlights of the franchise (ie. Kirk McLean’s crazy save on Robert Reichel, the win over the Leafs that sent them to the finals in 1994, some clips of the West Coast Express, and of course 2011). Kesler is pretty prominently featured in one of the clips. I didn’t go to the game last night, so I dunno if they’ve changed that, but I figure they’re going to have to do it.
