24. Coop has played well on the outside when he’s been there. I think this means, assuming he plays well, they will have coop take more reps outside again.

    At worst, it’s a depth signing. Hard to go wrong here since metchie wasn’t really doing anything.

25. Jets fan here. MC2 might be washed but when he was at his best, he was the secret weapon for Saleh’s defense. He’s capable of being an excellent slot corner, for some reason the new regime doesn’t see a fit for him I guess. Definitely seems like a worthwhile low-cost acquisition for y’all with great upside.

28. Jets fan here, CBII had a down year in 24 but was great 21-23. Still think he can be one of the top slot CBs in the league but the Jets are a dumpster fire. Us being one of the worst teams in the league on both sides this year may make it seem like CBII is washed but I think on the Eagles he’ll be with a better supporting class and play at a high level.

30. This guy any good? Asking as a pitiful jets fan who is stuck watching Allen Lazard trying to catch a football. MC2 was good for us in 2023 but schematically he’s been a non factor for us this year.

44. Jets fan here – as a player, MC2 was nothing short of an elite slot corner in 2023, but injuries and bad scheme fits have affected his success the last two seasons. I would be optimistic that your coaches can get him back to a plus starter or at least a valuable depth piece. As for Michael Carter II the person, nothing but positive things to say about him. If you go to his tweet announcing he’s traded it’s all love from Jets fans, and in an organization this battered… let’s just say most of our guys don’t get quite that level of positivity on their way out. Great man, great teammate.
