Watching Patrick outside the pocket is like watching Stephen Curry play basketball and shoot 3’s from anywhere, you get a sense of magic that something cool is about to happen. Moving to the left and throwing accurately cross body back to the left with all body momentum moving left is just nuts and coaches these days are now looking for this ability in young QB’s when for the longest time just trying this would get you chewed out even if it worked & benched if it didn’t work or intercepted.

  1. That pass rusher didn’t get as close to his feet as I thought.

In realtime I thought he’d grabbed on and pat shook it off.  Turns out he just high stepped his way out of it almost untouched

  2. This is art.

On a separate note, isn’t that technically considered an illegal hip-drop tackle at the end on Juju?

    Edit: Gray, not Juju

  3. Must be fun to be a receiver for #15! My fave pass play Monday Night was when Kelce was blocking at the line and then turned to see Patrick hadn’t thrown and was still looking— so Kelce just slid out for the pass and massive YAC.

  4. I just love that Donkey fans think that Bo Nix is even playing the same sport as this guy

  5. Dude has so many reps at a high level that any thoughts delaying reactions are gone. He has got it down so good it’s instinctual.

  6. When I was watching football as a kid in the ’80s and ’90s, if a QB made a throw that off-balance and against his momentum, the announcers would’ve absolutely eviscerated him.

  7. True master of the dark arts. Some where Alan Rickman is snarling his lips, muttering Mahomes..
