  22. I got rid of that janky mavs streaming app when they traded Luka. It hasn’t remotely crossed my mind to pay for it again. I got an email from them a couple days ago and laughed.

  24. I know that I’m just echoing what everyone else has said here since the trade happened, but this has been a nightmare for the fans. I don’t think anything throughout the history of professional sports even comes close to how badly our organization has handled things. I’ve collected sports memorabilia for years. My second ever jersey that was given to me as a child was a Dirk jersey, who ended up being on the team the majority of my life. I still own that jersey, and it sits right next to the Luka jersey I bought when we drafted him, thinking that he would do the same.
    The NBA has been ruined for me. I followed this team even when we sucked, even when the Spurs looked light years ahead of us and 3/4 of my family rooted for them over the Mavs. It’s impossible to get excited for anyone on this roster when you know they could be traded at any minute for nothing in return. I could go on and on, I’ll always be a fan of the Mavericks, but until Nico is gone and our ownership is also, I just won’t do it anymore.

  25. You could build a starting five of other first overall draft picks for the next four years to build around Cooper Flagg and still potentially not have a team as competitive as the squad built around Luka.
