I should note Bam also lead the huddles for defensive breakdowns he sees.
It would be remiss for me not to mention that Norm has also been leading the huddles as well.
Whatever he is saying, the communication has much to do with what they’re achieving out there. You can see how together everyone is when running the floor, not like how disjointed and lost things were last season and on.

Another under-the-radar bonus to Jimmy being gone is that Bam gets to truly take over as the sole leader of this team. Yeah he was captain while Jimmy was here, but Jimmy was clearly the leader on the floor.
I love the way Bam’s been talking in the huddles and postgame interviews this week. I feel like it’s a side of him we haven’t seen yet; he’s growing into that leader role so naturally.
I’m noticing the team is constantly huddling and I really do not recall seeing that in prior years, will be interesting to see if they keep it up all season

Great to see the love. it’s amazing what you can do when the ball finds you in rhythm and you don’t have to set 10 different screens and anchor the defense and be responsible for rebounds.
