RAPSHEET: Vikings QB JJ McCarthy is “Prepared, He’s Ready” ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€

[Music] What’s going on, Jeromes? So, the quarterback situation has been sort of interesting or JJ McCarthy high ankle sprain missed seven games. Carson Wentz tried to steady the ship. Uh really bad shoulder injury. Uh season ending shoulder surgery on IR. But now we’re back on track. We’re we’re back on schedule. Jonathan James McCarthy is quarterback one of the Minnesota Fighting Vikings. That ankle injury went from 99.999999999% healthy to 100%. We revved up, ready to go. Hopefully Darasaw and O’Neal will be good as we go up take on Detroit. It’s going to be good. Rap sheet. Uh talking on Good Morning Football today. JJ McCarthy is now the starting quarterback for the Vikings. Well, he always was. Uh this was the plan. Anyway, McCarthy is fully healthy, is seven weeks from a high ankle sprain. He is prepared. He is ready. They believe he will be successful. he is going to start. Now, McCarthy returns at a bit of a crossroads for the Vikings this season. Uh, one game before the trade deadline uh, next Tuesday and the Vikings up at Detroit. Detroit’s flying high right now. All full cylinders, all that stuff. Aiden Aiden Hutchinson just got 140 million bucks. And the Vikings, they they can square up their season four and four. They could have some momentum going into the backstretch or, you know, right? Uh, but here here’s the thing about JJ McCarthy. He’s going to prove all the haters and the losers wrong because even though he didn’t play in this game week 18 last year at Detroit, you know, you know, this football cycle took it personally and is going to exact some revenge on the Lions. He has never lost in the state of Michigan. It’s good to go. We’re ready to rock and roll. And here’s the thing, the rest of the way, no, no matter what happens, all we want to see is some of that promise uh that that has been foretold to us through about JJ McCarthy, want to see the moxy, we want to see the arm, want to see the mobility, want to see the leadership, want to see everything, everything that we saw in that fourth quarter against the Bears. We want to see that extrapolated uh amongst games and some wins and leading this team and getting it to where it once belonged. And this not all on McCarthy, by the way. the rest of the roster has to step up. Oline the weapons defense specifically. I I think that you know we had the mini buy to sort of decompress and you know cry in the breast milk like everyone else. But we are back. We we are so back baby. We’re going up to Detroit. Woo to prove all the haters and the losers wrong. Really take it to the lions and get after things because we have this gentleman. That’s right. Just look at the eyes. It’s going to be good. Anyways, your thoughts, our thoughts. Rap sheet. Uh, JJ McCarthy is fully healthy. He’s prepared. He’s ready to be successful. Damn right, man. Let us know your thoughts, our thoughts. Comment section. You guys the best you have to do. Skull production value.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy is reportedly ready and prepared to resume his role as QB1 Sunday in Detroit.

  1. The Vikes are going to get absolutely stomped. That said, hopefully the game starts to slow down for JJ just a bit each game and he shows improvement.

  2. So many great quarterbacks did not succeed when they first started playing…give jj the experience he needs to learn football in the nfl… I will look forward to next year ๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. You naiiled it Andy! ๐Ÿ‘Nobody needs to doubt McCarthy's effort re recovery from injury, preparation for the game & play in the game….BUT…we DO have to worry about the KOC's play-calling, which needs to be realistic given the O-line's issues, and must be aligned with what works best for McCarthy.
Furthermore, we DO need to be concerned with the Defence. e.g. The D-line needs to get quick pressure in the face of GOff & quick penetration to bust up the Lions' run game e.g. The LBs & DBs need to do their part to stop the run & eliminate giving up explosive plays!๐Ÿค”
Bottom line: No team should put the game on the shoulders of just the QB, and that's especially the case with a first-year starting QB who has only played two complete games in the NFL.๐Ÿค” SKOL!!!

  4. There have been many significant disappointments this year. The biggest for me is the play of the offensive line. The nice part of the situation is I will not waste time watching the game. I will be bowhunting with my family. If the line can't protect Mr. Glass, then there will no point in keeping his services as there will be no learning progression. PLEASE let me be wrong.

  5. I hope he's ready and also hope he gets good protection because lions dline are going put a lot of pressure on him especially since they like to play dirty.

  6. So what if he says he's ready. Ready to get blown out, sacked 3 time because he holds the ball longer than Wentz. After all this time if he screws up get his A$$ outta here and let's see Max Brosmer. I don't care that he's the #10 pick. Given Kwesi draft record, he is a bust ๐Ÿ˜ก

  7. The fact that people continue to listen to this guy is crazy to me. Useful idiots. JJ is obviously not going to beat the Lions and I donโ€™t expect him to. Itโ€™s only his third NFL start!!! Why canโ€™t we just lower the expectations this season and allow him to develop and mature at the QB position? Newsflash: weโ€™re not a playoff team this season, with or without JJ

  8. If JJ is going to succeed, the running game has to be established. Then quick throws, screens or slants. I personally would want multiple TE formations. The O-line HAS to give him some time for downfield plays to develop. If wish him the best, and hope he proves his doubters wrong. SKOL!!!
