Every Jets QB has deserved better, but Justin is not a very good passer. If they designed the offense around him being a heavily running RB, it could work fine..but they won’t
Jets fans deserve better. Fields had one decent game against one of the worst defenses in the league that literally everyone has clowned on for being so bad and wasting Joe Burrow.
Are we supposed to be impressed that he did okay against a garbage fire?
If he can turn it around sure, but giving him his flowers without actually accomplishing anything is sad. Browns have a scary defense and we need to be ready to see an ugly game. I don’t want to hear praising for a guy who has been in the league for almost 5 years doing the bare minimum. Remember when Mike White also put up crazy numbers against the Bengals? How’d that work out?

He’s “the guy that can get it done” and it’s only a matter of time before the talks that we should trade down in the draft and rebuild our defense. This is a really long video for like 5 plays lol also the line did a great job here. He’s still taking like 5 step drops and patting the ball that’s not gonna fly vs good defenses.
He looked good when the Steelers couldn’t stop anything either but you face a semi-competent defense and he suddenly he can’t do anything again

As a non jets fan it looked like that team was trying to get a penalty every play
I didn’t think Justin looked bad the first few weeks. The offensive line was getting a penalty every other play like they did not care. Hard to win like that. He did look like shit 2 games ago though

Got to see Justin Fields air it out on a terrible defense. But the OL and run game helped him out a lot. Lessee if the OL can do that again.
Also GW being out forced the staff to think more creatively in their play calling. I love seeing a passing game that included the tight ends and runners out of the back field.
Fuuuuuuuuck offfffff. He was terrible in Chicago, mediocre in Pittsburgh, and he’s terrible here again, AND he’s gonna fuck up our tank. Fields is fucking lucky to be on a roster next year with how consistently dogshit he is as a passer
