Love how simply he lays out on the tweet for it

Championships are won with firepower, not because a guy can play four different positions.

  1. The Yankees offseason should look like this: Tucker, Bichette, Okamoto, a FA flier on a pitcher like. a Cease or a Kelley, and Dominguez for the bullpen, or a flier on Helsey or someone of that sort. That’s my offseason. Anything less than that with money coming OFF the books is craziness. Gives us firepower finally around Judge, and it allows flexibility with Bitchette to hit up or down the lineup because he doesn’t strikeout.

  2. Bellinger is the most slam dunk re-sign in recent memory. He checks off all the boxes that Cashman targets.

  3. Agree to disagree. We’re talking about a much option who plays multiple positions and has proven he can handle New York. Cody all day

  4. I don’t agree. Belli would lay it all out for this team, and he consistently tries to show up with a solid mental. Tuck is still mentally an Astro and had a lot of slumps on the Cubs this year that looked like a mind over matter issue.

I’ll take the dude who wants to be on the team, not the one who still wishes he was on a rival roster.

  5. I’d say we fire off all cylinders and do everything we can to just get judge a damn ring because he’s getting older. It’s been disappointing long enough and I think it’s time we just go all in. Clearly we’re capable of going to the playoffs, but we need some reliable guys who can be leaders on and off the field, we need a consistent offense and a consistent defense, and some nice depth in order to actually win the World Series. They can continue splurging on players that are consistent and not injury prone or on a decline and they can call some guys up from the farm system but really take a better look at them. Rather than stick with a player until it’s clear that he sucks, cut him loose and go onto the next guy who wants a shot.

If we can’t win with judge, then that sucks. Once he retires or is on a clear decline, they should go for a full rebuild and start everything from scratch

  6. Championships are also won with players who can hit in the postseason, which Tucker has never done in his career.

He’s a very good player but it’s not like he’s miles ahead of Bellinger. Bellinger actually beat him in WAR last year.

  7. It will be very underwhelming and Boone and Cashman will act like guys coming back healthy is better than any pick ups. Fuck this team,I’m almost done with them after 44 years.

  8. Because he’s new.

If Tucker was on the team last year this argument would be the opposite.
