HE just walked them?!

Ryan Reeves has more goals than Connor McDavid. Right now, it’s twice as many. We’ll see how this Vancouver game goes. But the man, the myth, the legend, Revo, has found life in San Jose as the elite sniper just got his second of the year, giving the Sharks a 4-2 lead against the Wild. And a classic Revo snipe. He’s behind the net, works his way out and around. Goalie starts to rotate, and he makes him pay, sending her top Chedsky. You just can’t put it in neutral like that against a high-end player. And now, who’s laughing? Not Minnesota. That’s for free. And yes, of course, I am kidding. Revo is the one in front of the net. That’s Barkley Goodro’s mid-level shot, which hits and goes in. Barkley Goodro, I mean, Rangers fans, they know his sniping potential. But that second goal now puts him one ahead of not just McDavid, but other elite players including Stammer, Alex Brinkat, Travis Kknne, 18-year-old Sam Bennett, and of course, the previously mentioned MC Jesus. His first goal was actually pretty nice, too, against the Ducks. I believe almost made a video on it, but the West Coast start got the better of me and I passed the hell out. All jokes aside, the Sharks did catch Minnie sleeping in Sunday’s matinea in this one. Revo puts them up 4-2 as mentioned. Then Hartman gets one back for the Wild on the PP in the third, but then the Sharks go back up 2 minutes later on their own PP. This one was a dandy setup here by Celbrini to big bro Tyler to Foley. Celibbrini has really really come alive over these last couple games especially. He is taking over not just his team but the league. As much as I don’t like five-point games against the Rangers, I mean, who cares at this point? You love to see a young fella take over like this, and I’m thankful he is in the West. But yeah, he’s got 15 points in nine games, which I believe is good. The Wild aren’t slouches, though, and they fought back just a minute later. Buou, who’s a great young player to watch himself, by the way. Throws a Hail Mary on net. He’s about to lose it. And it’s in. Hits something in front. Takes a wild bounce over the tendon. And that’s his second of the year. And yes, that ties Revo. Zeve still young but he’s already scoring at a Ryan Reeves pace. Keep an eye on this one. Minnesota and before they even had hug their goalie Grizzov has a shot gets tipped by Arison E. No relation and the Wild tied up with just over two to go. And we’re going to overtime and it’s hard to believe the Wild didn’t complete the comeback on this one. They had three Sharks on ice for one shift which lasted over 3 and 1/2 minutes. 3 and 1/2 minutes in a 5minute overtime. Matt Baldy, who I started today in NHL Fantasy Stars, puts one off the post and out of their zone because Ekkan, who’s got his hand up, begging for a sub, finally gets to the bench. And who jumps on? Young Celbrini. He comes in, zooming, steals the puck, turns on the nos to get down the ice, separates from the defender easily and just rips it, beating Walt one-on-one. And just like that, the Sharks win again, led by their new leader, Ryan Reeves. But another three points for Celibbrini, three for Ecklund. He often gets overlooked with everyone else popping off. He’s been great this year. And of course, Michael Misa, the young man. He’s been working his tail off. He finally got his first goal. Great for him. First of many. So, where does Cellrini sit on the team cander roster? That’s where I’m wondering. Definitely on it if I had my way. Anyway, the offense is clicking for the Sharks. They need to figure out their defense and they’ll start pushing into the standings. But what’ you think of the Revo snipe? Is he having a career year in San Jose here? How do you like what they’re building? Let us know below.

Holy smokes, I can’t believe it,Ryan Reaves has more goals this season than Connor McDavid *pending. That and more in today’s NHL hockey video!

  1. I know the team is young. I know the team is in the dog days of a rebuild. I know they've started the year off ROUGH. BUT, goddammit they are entertaining to watch. Like The flashes of brilliance from my boys in teal (and that includes the streaky goaltending) just warm my heart.

  2. Reavo is a huge contributor to the vibes in San Jose. They were big last season, and he's effortlessly joined into the fray this year. Celebrini is exploding offensively, but what people might be missing is he has somehow at 19 improved his already impressive faceoff percentage from his rookie year, 48.2% win rate in 24/25 to 51.7 in 25/26, and he's decreased his giveaway rate from 4.89 per 60 last season to 3.51. For a 19 year old, who by the way played only the final preseason game this year, to do this is beyond impressive. Being 3rd in the NHL so far in scoring also is also rather impressive in its own right.

  3. Fun fact:

Only 5 players remain from the 2005 NHL Draft: Crosby, Kopitar, Letang, Quick, and last but not least… RYAN REAVES

  4. Celebrini is such a strong two way player that he can play any role on Team Canada. Should definitely be on the team, even if it’s in a 4th line defensive role

  5. I'm just here to say that I miss Reaves, and I'm glad he's performing great for the Sharks. That dude was a blast to watch, when he was on his game. Here's to many more fights, and a couple more goals. The Reaver smells blood.
