Sell the teams Gayle

  1. To who? Todd Graves who spends way more time in Dallas with the Cowboys? Who else in the area or with connections to the area has the money to buy not one, but two professional sports teams? If someone from outside the area buys the teams, you can kiss em goodbye. Unfortunately we’re one of the smallest markets in the league, situated in a poor area of the country

  2. It can’t be fun for the family having teams lose like this. I’m amazed there hasn’t been more of a big organizational change

  3. Remember when nobody wanted Rita to take over and everyone wanted Gayle? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

  4. *The year is 2019, months before the world is subjected to one of its strangest years…The New Orleans Saints are still competent under Brees and Payton, as some “fans” scream over one another to run them out of town*

Told ya to enjoy what we had and be careful what you wish for

  5. Between these two and LSU, we’re gonna have to change the state nickname to Sportsman’s Purgatory.

  6. Scooter loves to shit on New Orleans sports… especially the Saints. I can’t believe folks still read what this hack PoS writes

  7. I’m sorry, did everyone forget the Saints before 2006?  This is nothing. Calm down

  8. You hear this all the time “sell the team!”

If this team is sold, it’s leaving NO. Maybe not immediately, but in the near future it would be gone.

So, despite the current situation I don’t want Gayle selling because then we’re out of the state and in Vegas or something.

  9. I grew up in the 90s where it was routinely required to drive the whatever designated mileage away from New Orleans to watch the Saints on tv because games were blacked out.

We traded an entire draft for a RB and then put him in a wedding dress. We once had ***two*** QBs named Billy Joe at the same time and we kept them both and let Jake Delhomme walk. Our most famous player for multiple decades was a kicker with half a foot until we signed a really fast beer delivery man. The Saints didn’t get their first playoff win until something like their 34th season. Then the City flooded and we almost lost the team to San Antonio.

Don’t talk to me about the “Dark Ages” of post-Dennis Allen football.

  10. OP never lived louisiana sports before saban and payton won championships in the 2000s
