3. TSN can be goofy and has production issues every once in a while but fuck sportsnet. Those mofos will talk about the Leafs on commentary during other Canadian teams games lmao 😂

9. That’s good news for me. I live in Texas, which means I can see the games on ESPN+.

10. Hopefully the deal includes TSN upping the production value of the broadcasts. When you see what they do for other teams’ regional broadcasts — full in-studio panel discussions, The Quiz, etc — then watch a Jets game where the intermission programming is just an always-bland interview with a player who wants it done with as quickly as possible, then a zoom call with one TSN analyst, then some more filler with Robertson & Sawyer, you really see how they cheap out on the Winnipeg market.

    And since John Lu retired at a suspiciously young age, their investment in their Winnipeg bureau seems even further reduced. Between Orlesky hosting and the occasional but of pre-produced content, they seem content to just air whatever the team gives them. I like a lot of that content, but ideally you don’t want the team having excessive editorial control over its own media coverage.

12. While I do prefer our TSN crew to any other broadcast for Jets games, I just wish we could do away with the whole regional thing and just have one place to go for every NHL game. Just seeing another however many years tied to this model is just disheartening.

13. As much as I love the broadcast I have been blacked out in Lorette and TSN is convinced I’m out of region.

    I now use SN+. However they say I’m out of region for their feed so I am forced pair SN+ with a VPN to watch games which isn’t the most reliable stream.

    TSN needs to figure it out.

15. This is excellent. Seeing the hoops other fans have to jump through to watch their teams always makes me appreciate the Jets arrangement with TSN
