  3. Outside of special teams, Skatteboo wouldn’t have seen the field yet for the niners. 

  5. Click bait. We don’t use other RBs. They could draft LT or Marshal Faulk and they’d be riding the bench.

  14. Nice idea but, the priority was defense and most fans would’ve lost their minds if they took a RB in the first two days given the past draft history. I enjoyed Cam at SacSt. and his performance in the playoffs was awesome but, the reality is how Kyle uses RB’s Cam would’ve either been riding the bench or discarded due to inactivity, look at how productive Jordan James has been….hell Nick Martin hasn’t even dressed this season.

  15. Unless there was a trade, 9ers would have to pass on Upton Stout to draft Cam. For the time being, it looks like 9ers made the right call on this.

  17. I was banging this drum for weeks before the draft. I was also one pick away from taking him on my fantasy team, so it feels like I missed out on him twice.

  19. This sub would have lost their shit if they drafted Skattebo in the 3rd/4th. People would have ( correctly) pointed out we have CMC, and Guerrendo, plus brought up TDP, Sermon, Mason, etc..

    Also, Skatt didn’t really break out until Tracy got hurt. So if CMC was healthy, Skatt would probably look a lot like Brian Robinson Jr looks now, not enough touches to show what he can do.

  22. I legitimately wanted us to draft him so bad. He’s like CMC but bulkier and crazier.

  24. Cam+cmc would have been a NASTY duo. But I fear cmc would have lasted longer than Cam due to his reckless play style and sacrifice to keep Cmc healthy. Knowing Kyle, Cam wouldn’t have played still.

    Even with solid draft pickups we don’t have guys available.

  34. This is exactly what I wanted! I saw him as a replacement for Juice….big enough to pick up the blocking duties, but also an elite runner and catcher.

  37. Can the Niners stop drafting RBs already? Kyle has been able to plug some UDFA (Mason, Breida) and cheap FAs to play (Mostert). Why waste 3rd or 4th round picks???

    Heck, even Corey Kiner looked good in preseason.

  39. He got hurt because we were thinking about having him on our team…. poor kid. fuuuck I wanted him on our team though.
